Tucked away in a peaceful community, this cozy 3-bedroom, pet-friendly cabin is the perfect mountain escape! The main level of the home offers a spacious layout between the living room and kitchen. The living room features comfortable furniture, a gas log fireplace and a large TV. The adjacent kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare a delicious meal. There are two bedrooms on the main level - one with a king bed and one with a full. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. Upstairs find the king suite with a full bathroom attached. For additional sleeping, the leather couch in the living room converts into a futon. Outside, enjoy some peace and quiet on the wrap around deck or take a stroll around the property and community with your pet. If you’re looking to escape your hectic life and unwind, Queen Ridge Cabin is for you! Nearby must see attractions include: Ashe County Cheese - see cheese being made and enjoy delicious ice cream! (20 minutes away!) Molly Chomper Cidery (35 minutes away!) Ashe County Farmers Market every Saturday from 8am to 1pm from April to October! Mount Jefferson State Park - great place for family photos. Stunning views! (25 minutes away) Grayson Highlands State Park - 32 minutes away. Excellent hiking with scenic views, more than 5,000 feet in elevation. See wild horses! (1 hour away!) Old Barn Winery - Live music, food trucks, perfect atmosphere! (15 minutes away!) Saloon Studios - 19th century inspired Western town featuring live music, Civil War presentations, and music festivals (11 minutes away!) Enjoy a sunny day on the New River using Zaloo’s Canoes, Kayaks, and Tubes. Public put-in locations are nearby, as well for those bringing their own kayaks! Additional notes: - CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. - This home is pet friendly to two mature, well-trained dogs with a $25 per day, per dog fee. - The road leading to this home is moderately steep in some places and gravel. While accessing the home in spring, summer, and fall seasons should be a breeze, 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter months. It is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - This home offers ample level parking on a paved surface. You may purchase firewood for the outdoor firepit from us and have it delivered prior to your arrival. This service requires one-week notice prior to arrival, no exceptions. The cost for firewood is $25 per night, plus 12.75% tax. Each night purchased includes 2 small bundles (each bundle contains 6-8 pieces of wood) and 1 fire starter log. There is no refund for unused firewood. - Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent. - Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. - No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. - Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook. - No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time.
