The stunning Villa Ava is located in the picturesque town of Tar on the west coast of Istria. It blends classic and contemporary styles, and offers accommodation for 8 persons in 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, an outdoor saltwater pool and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with barbecue, making Villa Ava the ideal place to spend your holiday. Moreover, you can always swap the pool for the Adriatic Sea as the villa is just 2 kilometres away from the beach.
The ground floor has an open living area with glass doors that lead to the terrace, pool and outdoor kitchen. Modern design with neutral colours and natural materials is combined with simple lines. The result is a very pleasant space, especially the living room area. Here, you’ll find a comfortable sofa, smart TV and desk. A dining space with a big table for 8 people and the option of adding 2 children’s seats takes you to the kitchen. The advanced kitchen is fully furnished and features a large kitchen island with an induction hob, making meal preparation a delightful experience.
The bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are arranged so that 1 room with an en-suite bathroom is on the ground floor and 3 are located on the first floor. All bedrooms have a comfortable double bed and a baby cot is also available. Neutral colors dominate the room and create a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are flooded with light as they all have a terrace or balcony, perfect for enjoying the view. For your comfort, each room has air conditioning and underfloor heating that extends throughout the house. The connected bathrooms are stylishly designed with modern minimalism to create a calming atmosphere. They all include stylish walk-in showers. Guests are provided with toiletries and hairdryers.
The exterior of the property and its 912 m² garden blend modern simplicity with traditional style and create a charming ambiance. A lovely swimming pool with saltwater and heating options available at extra cost is the main attraction. Once you’ve finished your swim, you can relax on the sundeck with an outdoor shower and 8 sun loungers, or enjoy a cocktail on the alfresco seating area overlooking the pool. A fully equipped summer kitchen with fridge keeps a refreshing drink close at hand. There is also a gas barbeque in the roofed summer kitchen, as well as an outdoor dining area where you can dine and socialise late into the night. The available parking caters to 3 vehicles, and it includes an electric car charger while being suitable for low chassis cars. Keep in mind that it is not allowed to organize any kind of parties in the villa.
Villa Ava is a fantastic starting point for a day on the beach, but also for exploring western Istria. Take a trip to Tar-Vabriga, a town formed by combining two villages, situated between the charming town of Novigrad and the Adriatic pearl of Poreč. Tar-Vabriga provides a view of Novigrad and Poreč, and on occasion, Venice can be seen from the Tar bell tower. Don’t forget to taste the area’s local olive oil, the best in Europe. After visiting Novigrad and Poreč, head inland to the protected Baredine Cave, a natural monument with interesting geological formations, and the charming town of Višnjan, famous for its astronomical observatory. For a fun family outing, head to the exciting Istralandia water park which is only a 20-minute drive away.This accommodation does not accept groups of young people (up to 25 years).
