It has got a private terrace with sea-view and offers all kind of amenities such as: air conditioning, winter heating, living areas, SAT TV, WI-FI Internet access, well equipped kitchen, private terrace etc.
Casa Gemma is only 600 meters away from the center of Positano, where you will find bars, restaurants and shops. The bus stop both for the Amalfi-Sorrento line and local city line is at only 200 meters, while the closest beach is 1.5 km far. Actually there is no need of a car to stay at Casa Gemma but anyway if you have one, there is the possibility to park it in a garage (at extra cost) that must be reserved in advance. Please be aware that the access to this property is along a narrow road that is not suitable for large vehicles. Alternatively, you can park larger cars free of charge along the public roads (but the distance from where you succeed in parking your car to the property will depend on the availability of parking spaces).
The house consists of a living room, cooking and dining areas, two bedrooms and a private terrace.
In detail, the living room (whose furniture is very comfortable) is composed by a sofa-bed, for an additional guest, and a couch. Besides, there is also a cooking area, equipped with a gas cooker, an electric oven, a fridge with ice-maker, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker.
This room has got a window which overlooks the terrace and it is provided with a flat-screen SAT TV. Of course air conditioning/heating is available.
From the living room you can enter the two bedrooms, that are both provided with elegant furniture, double beds (larger than a queen-size bed), air conditioning/heating units and en-suite bathrooms (with shower).
From the bedrooms you can access to the terrace, that is 70 sq m. large, with a veranda and a pergola. There are also stone benches, a table, chairs, an outdoor shower and a BBQ and a wood fire pizza oven. From there you can enjoy an amazing view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast. The terrace, is for your exclusive use, even if it can be crossed from time to time, by the guests of another nearby apartment in order to reach their accommodations.
In addition, the house is provided with an in-house laundry as well, with a washing machine and an iron at your disposal.

About the area
Positano, a cliffside village on southern Italy's Amalfi Coast, is a destination that epitomizes the Mediterranean dream. With its pebble beachfront and steep, narrow streets lined with boutiques and cafes, Positano charms visitors with its picturesque beauty and laid-back lifestyle.
The town's pastel-colored houses cascade down the hillside to the sea, creating a stunning visual that is quintessentially Italian. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta features a majestic dome tiled in majolica and houses a 13th-century Byzantine icon of the Virgin Mary, adding a touch of historical and cultural significance to your visit.
Positano is not only a feast for the eyes but also a paradise for food lovers. The region's cuisine is rich with fresh seafood, locally grown produce, and the famous limoncello liqueur. Dining al fresco on a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea is an experience that encapsulates the essence of La Dolce Vita.
For those who love the outdoors, the Path of the Gods offers one of the most breathtaking hiking trails in the world. The path winds along the mountainside, providing panoramic views of the coast and the Tyrrhenian Sea below. It's a must-do for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike.
The town's beaches, such as Spiaggia Grande and Fornillo, are perfect for those looking to relax by the sea or enjoy water activities like swimming, boating, and stand-up paddleboarding. The clear blue waters are inviting, and boat tours can take you to nearby coves and grottos, including the famous Emerald Grotto.
Positano also serves as an excellent base for exploring the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Nearby destinations like the ancient town of Ravello and the bustling port city of Amalfi are easily accessible and offer their own unique attractions, from stunning villas and gardens to historic cathedrals and bustling piazzas.
Shopping in Positano is a delight, with numerous artisanal shops offering handmade leather sandals, custom-made clothing, and colorful ceramics. These make for wonderful souvenirs or gifts that capture the spirit of the region.
In essence, Positano is a blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and luxurious relaxation. It's a place where the beauty of the landscape, the taste of the cuisine, and the warmth of the local people come together to create an unforgettable travel experience. Whether you're seeking romance, adventure, or simply a place to unwind, Positano is a destination that truly has it all.
