Maalaea Surf is 5 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with only eight 2-story Polynesian-inspired buildings spread out generously. Located on the 5 mile stretch of Sugar Beach, many visitors find this white sand beach the best for their morning and evening walks. Central located, many Maui destinations are easily accessible including Kihei and Wailea in the South, Kula and the road to Hana Upcountry, Lahaina and Kaanapali in the West and shopping and the airport in Central Maui. Maalaea Surf is just moments from a deli, shave ice shop, bakery and ABC convenience store. Ma’alaea Harbor is just 5 miles North and features Maui Ocean Center-one of the best aquariums in the U.S. as well as dining and shops. Many snorkel and whale watching tours leave from this harbor.
