Chalet Kalyssia in an Property Manager property. A very unique property - sleeping 11 (10 adults and a child), the accommodation is split over two buildings.
The Property Manager team’s opinion -
The main chalet has three bedrooms sleeping seven, with three bathrooms, and the annexe has two double en suite bedrooms, as well as a great family living room with a billiard table and games. The layout makes Chalet Kayssia the perfect choice for two families who want a holiday together, but still need their own privacy. However, when you want to get together there’s plenty of room, both in the main chalet and in the huge games room in the annexe.
We think Chalet Kalyssia has all the luxury ingredients for the perfect holiday - there’s an outdoor hot tub with stunning views over Lake Annecy and the mountains, and in summer, there’s even a pool. With sunbathing on the deck, a barbecue and plancha grill, it’s going to be difficult to tear yourself away!
With all this, plus a wine cellar and a leisure area, we think Chalet Kalyssia is going to be a popular choice all year round - there’s always something happening with a short drive and so much more to explore if you venture a little further.
Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.
The heated outdoor pool is available between March 15th and end of All Saints’ Days holidays. From March 15th to May 1st and from September 30th to November, the pool benefits from a removable cover allowing guests to use it despite bad weather. Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms. The property is equipped with an exterior security camera pointing at the entrance of the house and car park. It can be turned off during your stay at your request. There is no other camera inside the property. Note: the garage is not available between May 1st and September 30th (the pool cover is stored there). On simple request to your manager, you can benefit from the following services: mid-stay cleaning, a home chef for lunch, dinner or receptions as well as breakfast deliveries. Extra services will be invoiced separately. Please note that any additional cleaning during the stay is offered at a flat rate of €400.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

About the area
Duingt, a picturesque village nestled on the western shore of Lake Annecy in the Haute-Savoie region of France, is a destination that offers a serene escape into nature's embrace. Known for its stunning landscapes and tranquil atmosphere, Duingt is a haven for those seeking a blend of relaxation and outdoor adventure.
The village is dominated by the striking silhouette of the Château de Duingt, which sits on a small island connected to the mainland by a causeway. This historic castle, with its fairy-tale appearance, adds a touch of medieval charm to the village and is a favorite subject for photographers and artists.
Lake Annecy itself is a star attraction, often referred to as Europe's cleanest lake due to its crystal-clear waters. Visitors can indulge in a variety of water sports, including swimming, sailing, and paddleboarding. The lake's shores are perfect for leisurely strolls or picnics, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains providing a breathtaking backdrop.
Cyclists and hikers will find plenty to explore with the scenic paths that encircle the lake and the trails that wind through the nearby mountains. The area is a part of the larger Annecy Lake Natural Reserve, which ensures the preservation of the local flora and fauna, offering a pristine natural environment for outdoor enthusiasts.
The village of Duingt is also a gateway to the Massif des Bauges Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark, where visitors can discover a rich geological heritage, traditional Savoyard architecture, and charming alpine villages. The park's diverse landscapes, ranging from alpine pastures to rugged peaks, provide opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and in winter, snowshoeing and skiing.
For those interested in cultural experiences, Duingt and the surrounding region host various events and festivals throughout the year, celebrating everything from local cuisine to music and art. The village's proximity to the city of Annecy, known as the "Venice of the Alps," allows for easy day trips to explore its enchanting canals, colorful buildings, and historical sites.
Gastronomy is another highlight, with local restaurants serving Savoyard specialties such as tartiflette, raclette, and fondue, often accompanied by regional wines and cheeses. The area's culinary offerings reflect its rich agricultural tradition and the fusion of French and Swiss influences.
In essence, Duingt is a destination that offers a peaceful retreat into nature, with ample opportunities for outdoor activities, cultural exploration, and culinary delights, all set against the stunning backdrop of the French Alps and the pristine waters of Lake Annecy.
