A fixed appointment with beautiful music and delicious appetizers will undoubtedly be the splendid private pool equipped with comfortable sunbeds, tables, and umbrellas. Take a refreshing dip and enjoy this typical Mediterranean atmosphere that adorns the pool area with orchards, olive trees, and be intoxicated by the scent of aromatic plants that fill the air.
Challenge your group with a buffet of tasty dishes on the veranda to inaugurate the vacation; each couple prepares their specialty in the kitchen, and as course after course is served, the table is completed with an impressive menu for moments of joy, not just for the palate. The veranda is covered and spacious, equipped with a table and chairs.
Evenings of joy around the barbecue
Take advantage of all the ample outdoor spaces for a barbecue in the garden. It’s fun to cook together in front of the barbecue while chatting, telling jokes, and inventing rhymes for a fun toast. Dimora Lamioni has an ideal location for essential shopping and is a short walk from the center of Triggianello, famous for its numerous butcher shops with a wide range of premium meats. A few kilometers away, you reach the sea of Polignano a Mare, the historic center of Monopoli, and the extraordinary Castellana Caves.
Find your corner of relaxation in the typical Apulian house
Spend your holidays in a typical structure restored with great attention to detail. Dimora Lamioni offers its guests a relaxing and comfortable stay in a magical corner of Puglia. The white tuff present in the structure, the use of wooden beams, and the stone floor create a cozy environment and a warm atmosphere typical of the Mediterranean.
The entrance from the automatic gate immediately allows you to see the large covered veranda well equipped with a large table and chairs for cheerful lunches and dinners, and in one corner, the barbecue is available to guests. On the right and well protected by a dense hedge, the pool is surrounded by a well-kept English lawn, trees, and fragrant flowers, equipped with sun loungers. The main entrance to the structure is in the typical living room characterized by tuff vaults and well-furnished with a relaxation area and a fireplace that gives access to the sleeping area: a bright corridor provides access to the "family area" with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom made independent from the other rooms by a door; each room has its private outdoor space and overlooks the pool area. The other two double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower, also have private outdoor space and overlook the green orchard. The large and bright kitchen has dual access: it can be reached from inside the structure or through the large covered veranda. The kitchen area is equipped with all comforts and has a large table and chairs to ensure the possibility of lunch or dinner inside during cooler periods; it also has a relaxation area.

A few steps from the famous trattorias of Triggianello
Choose a table from the numerous local butcher shops and enjoy a unique experience: the "fornello pronto" (ready stove). Triggianello is a fraction shared with Polignano a Mare and Conversano and is much appreciated for its characteristic agriculture that it has preserved since its origins, supporting traditional gastronomic specialties to this day. It is famous for its numerous local butcher shops offering premium meats, where you can choose the raw meat that will then be cooked on large barbecues (stoves) and served to be enjoyed in a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.
For a perfect match with local cuisine, start the liveliest toasts of the year with a good glass of Apulian wine. Consider that Apulia’s wine production is among the most important in Italy, and the red wine of Manduria from the winemaker Gianfranco Fino is well known, awarded for several years as the best wine in Italy. Triggianello is also famous for its craft breweries where you can taste special beers produced on-site.
A catamaran trip to discover the caves of Polignano a Mare
Spend a day at sea – an unforgettable catamaran excursion to discover the wonderful caves of Polignano a Mare: Grotta Palazzese, Grotta Ardito, Grotta degli Innamorati, Scoglio dell’Eremita, and Lama Monachile. Dive during the bathing stop in this crystal-clear sea of "blu dipinto di blu" that inspired Domenico Modugno with his eternal song "Volare." You are in the middle of the sea, sing, dance, sunbathe, and enjoy with your friends the friendliness of a Puglian skipper who accompanies you on an exciting excursion to extraordinary places until sunset, enjoying an aperitif with prosecco and typical Apulian taralli.

About the area
Monopoli, a charming coastal town in Italy's Puglia region, is a captivating blend of history, culture, and Mediterranean beauty. This hidden gem, less frequented by the tourist crowds, offers a serene escape with its picturesque landscapes, pristine beaches, and rich historical tapestry.
The heart of Monopoli lies in its Old Town, a labyrinth of narrow streets and whitewashed buildings that exude an old-world charm. Visitors can wander through these alleys, stumbling upon quaint piazzas, historic churches, and the imposing Castle of Charles V, which stands as a testament to the town's strategic importance through the ages.
The town's coastline is dotted with a series of coves and sandy beaches, providing ample opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. The most famous of these is Cala Porta Vecchia, a picturesque beach nestled against the backdrop of Monopoli's ancient city walls.
For those interested in marine life and underwater exploration, Monopoli's sea is rich with opportunities for diving and snorkeling, revealing a submerged world of biodiversity and even some intriguing shipwrecks.
Culinary enthusiasts will delight in Monopoli's gastronomic offerings, which reflect the region's agricultural bounty and seafood traditions. Local dishes often feature fresh produce, olive oil, and fish, with restaurants and trattorias serving up specialties like orecchiette pasta with turnip tops and sumptuous seafood risottos.
Cultural experiences abound, with the town's calendar dotted with festivals and events that celebrate its heritage. Notable among these is the Festa della Madonna della Madia, where a procession at sea commemorates the miraculous arrival of an icon of the Virgin Mary, which according to legend, helped complete the town's cathedral.
Speaking of which, the Cathedral of Maria Santissima della Madia is an architectural marvel, boasting a stunning Baroque facade and a richly decorated interior. Art lovers will find a treasure trove of religious art and iconography within its walls.
For a taste of rural Puglia, visitors can venture into the surrounding countryside, where ancient olive groves and vineyards paint a bucolic scene. Agritourism is popular here, offering a chance to stay in renovated farmhouses and experience the region's agricultural lifestyle.
In essence, Monopoli is a destination that offers a serene coastal retreat, steeped in history and local traditions, with all the charm expected of a southern Italian town. It's a place where travelers can slow down, savor the moment, and immerse themselves in the authentic Puglian way of life.
