Ritva is a modern lakefront escape just 50 minutes from Helsinki. Set on a southwest-facing slope, it offers wide views, a sunny terrace, and a glass conservatory that opens to the garden. A separate sauna building sits close to the shore with a wood-fired hot tub and a drop-design fire pit. Inside, you’ll find an open-plan living space, a well-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms. The fenced garden, pier, and peaceful setting make it ideal for families, friends, or small groups.
Ritva pairs contemporary design with a quiet lakeside location that feels both private and welcoming. The main villa opens to an airy living area where floor-to-ceiling windows look across the terrace and water beyond. A wood-burning fireplace, comfortable sofa, and Smart TV make it easy to settle in after a day outdoors.
The kitchen is fitted with everything needed for meals, including an induction stove, oven, dishwasher, and both espresso and drip coffee makers. The dining space sits beside glass doors that open to the conservatory, where you can relax in the warmth of the evening sun or step onto the terrace for a meal fresh off the gas BBQ.
Two bedrooms in the main villa have Queen-size beds prepared with cotton linens, while the guesthouse offers additional sleeping space with a sofa bed. In the bathrooms you will find towels and essential toiletries for a comfortable stay.
The sauna building sits just a few steps from the shore, featuring a high-quality stove, a wet room, and views over the lake. Outside, the fenced garden and gently sloping waterline make it an easy place to spend time with children or pets.
A wood-fired hot tub and drop-design fire pit invite evenings outdoors, while the pier provides a spot for swimming or launching the SUP board and rowing boat. Fishing gear, classic lawn games, and a bicycle are all available to use.
Ritva is well suited to families or couples looking for a modern base to enjoy the calm of Finnish lakeside life.

One cannot miss the Helsinki Cathedral when in the city. This awe-inspiring neoclassical church dominates Senate Square and provides panoramic vistas of the city. For those interested in modern architecture, the Kamppi Chapel and Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art are essential stops.
The cultural treasures of Helsinki are equally remarkable. The Ateneum Art Museum is home to Finland's most extensive art collection, showcasing works from the 19th century to present times. Music aficionados will enjoy a visit to the Sibelius Monument dedicated to Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.
Helsinki's culinary scene is dynamic and caters to all palates. From traditional Finnish fare served in quaint taverns to innovative gastronomy in chic restaurants, Helsinki promises a diverse and delectable culinary adventure.

During winter months, Helsinki morphs into a snowy paradise providing activities like ice-skating and cross-country skiing right within the city confines. Although not known as a prime location for Northern Lights viewing, on rare occasions one might catch sight of this spectacular natural phenomenon.
