Home details
This huge, comfortable and tastefully decorated villa set in a beautifully remote, secluded location has the best of both worlds – excellent privacy and peace, yet in reality is just a short drive from several stunning towns and villages with all the resources they bring with them, and on the border of a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
As you enter the property, you’ll notice it’s not just the views that excite us about this villa! From the moment you cross the threshold, the attention to detail is immediately apparent. With a modern take on a traditional style, this villa exudes typical Mallorcan style and has the furniture to support it, while feeling utterly chic, comfortable and impressive.
The kitchen is huge! With all the space and modern mod cons making preparing a Mediterranean snack or two an absolute delight. The living and dining areas are equally balanced for comfort and pleasure, still maintaining a fabulous traditional appearance.
The ground-floor bedroom invites the warmth and light of the day in through its many great windows and private entrance on to the balcony, and is complete with an en suite. A second modern, sparkling bathroom is located on this floor, also.
Moving upstairs, there are a further four bedrooms. These are all equally completed to perfection, demonstrating the same attention to detail as on the ground-floor – with the same rustic wooden beams spanning the length of each room and tasteful decorations and furniture. While uniformly wonderful, each room has its own unique character and style – from great four-poster wooden frames and vintage dressing tables, to private balcony access. With views over the vast local landscape, of luscious farm land and forest in the foreground and the great rolling hills of the Tramuntana mountain range in the background, perhaps this room provides the best of all the rooms.
And yet, everyone can enjoy all of this from the comfort of a sun lounger by your fabulous private pool, or while dining under the shaded canopy – the terrace provides an excellent platform to indulge in the great views and the warmth of the abundant Mallorcan sunshine! A second terrace sits another level up, just outside the house, allowing for an even better view of both the property grounds and the surrounding scenery.
Accommodating up to nine people, with a private pool, table tennis, multiple lounging areas and incredibly well-equipped rooms, we can’t imagine you’ll be leaving in a hurry! But when you’re ready to tear yourself away and explore the local area, you’re very handily located between three wonderful towns: Pollensa, Port de Pollensa and Alcudia, which collectively will provide all the entertainment you could dream of – and each is under 10 minutes away!

Location:
Pollensa is the picture perfect district of Mallorca, regarded as the cultural centre of the north of the island! When people picture Mallorca, they might not know it, but often what they’re picturing is Pollensa. Endless sandy beaches and roads lined with palm-trees set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. The diverse landscape, from fertile valleys to steep mountains and gently undulating hills and of course the beaches which seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, is just one of the reasons that so many great artists have chosen to call this island home throughout the last century.
Just 6 km away, the Port de Pollensa itself has a fabulous Pine Walk providing spectacular views of the bay, as well as large pedestrianised sections around the area, and there’s a huge water sports industry springing up in the shallow waters here – from paddle-boarding to kitesurfing, there’s something new to try for everyone!
Top tip: the viewpoint from the Calvario is an absolute must, if you can manage the climb!

About the area
Pollença, nestled in the northern corner of Mallorca, Spain, is a charming town that offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. This picturesque destination is a treasure trove for travelers seeking a serene escape with a touch of the Mediterranean lifestyle.
The town's historic center is a labyrinth of narrow, winding streets that lead to the grand Plaça Major, the main square. Here, visitors can admire the imposing 13th-century church, Església de Nostra Senyora dels Àngels, and enjoy the bustling weekly market where local artisans and farmers showcase their products.
Pollença's Roman bridge, known as "Pont Romà," is a testament to the town's ancient past and is a popular spot for photographs. The Calvari steps, a set of 365 stone steps, offer a challenging climb rewarded with panoramic views of the town and the surrounding Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. At the top, the Oratory of Calvari is a peaceful sanctuary worth visiting.
For those interested in art and culture, the Museu de Pollença houses a collection of works by local and international artists, as well as artifacts that narrate the town's history. The town also hosts the prestigious Pollença Festival, which attracts music lovers with its classical concerts held in the atmospheric Santo Domingo cloister.
Nature enthusiasts will find Pollença an ideal base for exploring the Tramuntana range, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hiking, cycling, and bird watching are popular activities in this region, with trails leading to stunning landscapes and hidden coves. The nearby Cap de Formentor offers dramatic cliffside views and the picturesque Formentor Beach, with its crystal-clear waters, is perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Pollença's port, Port de Pollença, is a short drive away and is renowned for its beautiful beachfront promenade lined with cafes and restaurants. The port area also offers a range of water sports, including sailing, kayaking, and windsurfing.
The town's culinary scene reflects the rich agricultural heritage of the region, with local restaurants serving traditional Mallorcan dishes made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. From tapas bars to upscale dining, there's something to satisfy every palate.
In summary, Pollença captivates visitors with its historic charm, cultural richness, and stunning natural surroundings. It's a place where one can immerse in the slow pace of island life, enjoy the arts, and embrace the great outdoors, all within the beautiful setting of Mallorca.
