A Casa do Monte | Private Pool | 8 Pax | Galé, Albufeira
stands out for its special configuration, composed of several buildings that guarantee comfort and independence. The main house has 3 bedrooms — two with double beds and one with two single beds — as well as a welcoming living room, equipped kitchen and all essential amenities such as Wi-Fi and air conditioning.
The 4th bedroom is located in a separate building, functioning almost like a small independent apartment. This space includes a bathroom, an open kitchenette leading into a living/bedroom area and a sofa bed that transforms into a double bed, being ideal for couples seeking greater privacy within the group. Both buildings are connected by a pleasant terrace with an outdoor table, perfect for outdoor meals.
Another of the property’s great highlights is the building dedicated to socialising and dining, located approximately 20 metres from the main house. This space was designed for unforgettable moments amongst friends and family, featuring an outdoor barbecue, support kitchen, bathroom and a spacious dining room with large windows overlooking the exterior, creating a bright and engaging environment.
The swimming pool, an old agricultural tank transformed, is integrated into the land in front of the house, offering an authentic and distinctive setting, surrounded by nature. The spacious grounds guarantee total privacy and a genuine connection to the rural Algarve environment.
This is an old property, carefully restored, which maintains its traditional Algarve character, combining rustic charm with modern comfort.
Located in the Galé area, it allows quick access to beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, Albufeira Marina and historic centre, being ideal for those who want to explore the region while maintaining a peaceful retreat.
Ideal for large families or groups of friends who value independent spaces, for those seeking an authentic experience in a typical Algarve house, or for those who want holidays with privacy, nature and excellent conditions for socialising.

About the area
Faro District, located in the southernmost region of Portugal, is a captivating destination that offers a rich blend of cultural heritage, stunning natural landscapes, and a laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere. Known as the gateway to the Algarve, Faro District is renowned for its picturesque coastal towns, golden beaches, and the idyllic Ria Formosa Natural Park.
The district's capital, Faro, is a charming city with a well-preserved Old Town (Cidade Velha) where visitors can wander through cobbled streets, admire the Arco da Vila, and explore historical landmarks such as the Faro Cathedral and the Municipal Museum. The city's marina is a perfect spot to relax and watch the boats, while nearby, the Forum Algarve shopping center caters to those looking to indulge in some retail therapy.
Beyond the city, the Algarve's coastline is a major draw, with its dramatic cliffs, secluded coves, and expansive sandy beaches. The famous Praia da Marinha, with its clear turquoise waters and iconic rock formations, is often listed among the most beautiful beaches in the world. For surfers and water sports enthusiasts, the western coast offers excellent conditions, particularly around Sagres and Lagos.
Ria Formosa Natural Park is a unique coastal lagoon system that is a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers. The park's series of barrier islands can be explored by boat tours, which provide opportunities to spot a diverse range of birdlife and enjoy the tranquil beauty of this protected area.
The Algarve is also a golfer's paradise, boasting some of Europe's top golf courses set against stunning backdrops. With a mild climate year-round, golfers can enjoy their sport in virtually any season.
For those interested in cultural experiences, the Algarve has a rich history influenced by various civilizations, including the Romans and Moors. This is evident in the region's architecture, such as the Moorish castle in Silves and the Roman ruins of Milreu in Estoi.
The local cuisine is another highlight, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and traditional Portuguese dishes. Visitors can savor the catch of the day at a beachfront restaurant or sample the region's famous piri-piri chicken.
In essence, Faro District is a destination that offers something for everyone, from the sun-seeker and the history enthusiast to the nature lover and the foodie. Its blend of cultural richness, natural beauty, and leisure activities make it a perfect spot for a memorable vacation.
