Welcome to Kanaloa, a relaxed and well-equipped apartment in the coveted Altamar IV complex, perfectly located between the golden beach of Arenal de Jávea and the charming port area. This three-bedroom apartment is designed to enjoy a relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, with everything you need for easy and peaceful holidays.
Enter and you will find two spacious double bedrooms with king-size beds (160 x 200), as well as a cheerful room with two beds that is perfect for children or friends. With a family bathroom and an en-suite bathroom (both with showers over baths), there is space for everyone to get ready comfortably after a day at the beach.
The elegant galley kitchen comes fully equipped with all modern appliances, making cooking a pleasure, although with so many local restaurants nearby, you may not use it much! The living room and open-plan dining area flow directly into a generous covered terrace, where you can sink into the outdoor sofa with a glass of wine or enjoy a leisurely lunch while absorbing the views of the pool and gardens below.
Available throughout the year, Kanaloa is ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a well-located and hassle-free base. Although the apartment does not have a private parking space, there is ample free parking just outside on the main Avenue.
The best part of all is that you are just a 10-minute walk from the lively seafront promenade of Arenal, and 15 minutes from the picturesque port, perfect for having a coffee in the morning, enjoying tapas at night, and everything in between.
Advice from JH: Are you travelling with extended family or a large group? Kanaloa shares the complex with Altamar Cielo and La Kalma, and is just around the corner from El Colibrí, so everyone can stay nearby, with their own space to relax.*

About the area
Xàbia (also known as Jávea), a coastal town in Spain's Costa Blanca, is a gem that offers a delightful mix of historical charm, natural beauty, and modern amenities. Nestled between the capes of San Antonio and La Nao, Xàbia is divided into three main areas: the old town, the port, and the beach area, each with its own unique allure.
The old town of Xàbia is a journey back in time with its narrow, winding streets and gothic buildings, such as the fortress-like Church of San Bartolomé. This area is a testament to the town's rich history, with its ancient walls and historical museums that provide insight into the lives of its past inhabitants.
The port area, known as Aduanas del Mar, is a bustling hub where fishing boats and yachts coexist. It's a perfect spot to savor fresh seafood at one of the many restaurants overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The port also features the modernist Casa del Cable, which now serves as an exhibition hall.
For beach lovers, the sandy Arenal Beach is the main attraction with its palm-lined promenade, lively bars, and restaurants. The clear blue waters are ideal for swimming, while the surrounding coves, such as Granadella and Portitxol, offer excellent opportunities for snorkeling and diving.
Nature enthusiasts will be drawn to the Montgó Natural Park, which towers over Xàbia and provides a stunning backdrop to the town. The park is a haven for hikers and wildlife watchers, with its diverse flora and fauna and panoramic views of the coastline.
Xàbia's microclimate is considered one of the best in the world by the World Health Organization, making it an ideal destination year-round. The town also hosts various cultural events and festivals, such as the lively Fiesta de San Juan in June, which celebrates the summer solstice with bonfires and fireworks.
For those interested in art and architecture, Xàbia does not disappoint. The town has inspired many artists, including the famous Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla, who captured its landscapes in his works.
In summary, Xàbia is a destination that offers a harmonious blend of historical depth, natural splendor, and a vibrant contemporary lifestyle. Whether you're looking to explore its cultural heritage, relax on its beautiful beaches, or enjoy outdoor activities in a picturesque setting, Xàbia caters to all tastes and preferences.
