Located near the very tip of the Monterey Peninsula and just a few steps from coastal access and a scenic hiking trail, this 1,425 sf, single-level vacation rental enjoys full Monterey Bay views so you can ’watch the waves’ from the comfort of your living room.
The Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail is just outside your front door - head west toward Monterey to reach Lover’s Point Beach, restaurants and downtown Pacific Grove, or south along the coastline to enjoy pocket beaches, tide pools and Asilomar Beach. Directly across the street from the home is the John Denver Memorial which has a convenient parking area and a small picnic area.
Just around the corner you’ll find the clubhouse of the Pacific Grove Golf Links and the Point Pinos Grill, or take a stroll to view the historic Point Pinos Lighthouse which is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the west coast.
Living Space
This 1,425 sf vacation house offers all the comforts of home and many details to make your stay enjoyable. We are sure you will want to return again and again. Once you enter through the cheerful blue front door, you’ll feel at home.
Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams adorn the living room and large windows facing the bay bring in an abundance of light. One sofa is perfectly placed in front of the ocean facing windows taking full advantage of the view, and a large L-shaped Sofa is oriented toward both the TV and the gas fireplace, a perfect place to warm yourself after breezy days at the beach. Guests can watch their favorite shows on the wifi-enabled Smart TV (guests should bring own logins to their preferred subscription services).
A separate enclosed sun room with a cozy seating area faces the back of the home where the lovely landscaped back yard takes center stage and is viewed through large windows. The back yard can be accessed through the sun room or the garage.
The gleaming kitchen is well-equipped for your stay when you want to dine in. Stainless steel appliances and granite counters and backsplashes adorn the kitchen along with warm-toned cabinetry with ample space for storage. An ocean view window is directly over the large kitchen sink, making washing-up a delight. The adjacent dining table likewise affords an ocean view.
When you want to dine out, a plethora of dining options are found in Pacific Grove and nearby coastal towns of Monterey, Carmel and Pebble Beach®.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
All three bedrooms have wifi-enabled TVs with streaming options (guests should bring their own logins)
Bedroom #1 has a king bed, large closet, a desk and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination. This bedroom also has direct access to the sun room through sliding doors.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a large closet.
Bedroom #3 has a twin day bed, a small writing desk and direct access to the sun room.
The shared hallway bathroom has a standing shower with vintage aqua tiles.
Well-behaved dogs under 40 lbs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
The two car garage is available for guest use and two more vehicles can park in the driveway. Street parking along Ocean View Blvd. is also available.
The washer and dryer are located in the tidy garage.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
