ELEVATED GULF-FRONT RETREAT AT TARPON BEACH – UNIT 302
Welcome to your slice of paradise on Sanibel’s beloved Tarpon Beach. This
beautifully reimagined 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo offers stunning Gulf views,
elevated privacy, and the perfect setting for a relaxed coastal escape.
Located on the first residential level above under-building parking, this home
offers the best of both worlds—convenient access paired with the elevated
perspective needed to enjoy sweeping Gulf views and coastal breezes.
Currently being thoughtfully renovated, this residence will soon debut as a
fresh, modern retreat designed for comfort, style, and effortless beach
living. Once complete, you’ll step into a bright, open living space with plush
seating, a large flat-screen TV, and expansive windows that bring the Gulf
right into your living room.
The kitchen will be fully updated with modern appliances, granite countertops,
and everything needed to create memorable meals.
The sleeping layout is ideal for families and groups. The primary suite will
feature a king bed, private en-suite bathroom, and Gulf-facing views. Two
additional guest bedrooms will each offer flexible bedding options—either two
sets of twins or convert them into two king beds—and include their own
bathrooms for added comfort and privacy. The living area also features a top-
of-the-line La-Z-Boy memory foam sleeper sofa, providing an exceptionally
comfortable additional sleeping option.
Step out onto your private lanai to enjoy morning coffee and the sound of the
waves. From here, a short stroll—less than 100 feet—takes you directly to the
beach.
TRAVELING WITH A LARGER GROUP?
Unit 302 is located directly next to Unit 303, a beautifully appointed
1-bedroom condo. Both units feature premium La-Z-Boy memory foam sleeper
sofas, and when rented together, the two condos can comfortably accommodate up
to 10 guests—ideal for extended families or groups traveling together while
still enjoying separate spaces.
Additional amenities will include Wi-Fi, in-unit washer and dryer, and beach
gear for your convenience.
Please note: current photos reflect the unit prior to storm damage. Updated
photography will be added as renovations are completed.
Kingfisher Vacation Rentals offers a seamless, contact-free check-in
experience—no office stops, and on Sanibel, not even a stoplight to slow you
down.

About the area
Sanibel Island, located on Florida's Gulf Coast, is a serene paradise known for its shell-strewn beaches, wildlife refuges, and laid-back atmosphere. This barrier island is a sanctuary for both nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
One of the island's most celebrated attractions is the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, which occupies a significant portion of Sanibel. This refuge is a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts, with opportunities to spot a diverse array of bird species, as well as other wildlife like alligators and manatees. The refuge offers guided tours, walking trails, and a scenic drive that winds through mangrove forests and tidal flats.
Sanibel's beaches are another draw, famous for their abundance of seashells. Beachcombers from around the world visit Bowman's Beach, Blind Pass Beach, and Lighthouse Beach to search for unique shells—a pastime so popular it has its own name, the "Sanibel Stoop." The island's unique east-west orientation acts as a scoop for seashells carried by the Gulf currents, making it one of the best shelling locations in the world.
For those interested in the island's history and culture, the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village offers a glimpse into the past with restored buildings that date back to the 1800s. The Sanibel Lighthouse, a historical landmark, is also worth a visit, with picturesque grounds and a fishing pier nearby.
Outdoor activities on Sanibel are plentiful, with options for kayaking, cycling, and fishing. The island boasts over 25 miles of bike paths, allowing visitors to explore the natural beauty at a leisurely pace. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy sailing, windsurfing, and paddleboarding in the calm Gulf waters.
Sanibel's dining scene reflects its coastal location, with fresh seafood readily available. Restaurants range from casual beachfront eateries to fine dining establishments, many of which offer picturesque views of the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.
Accommodations on Sanibel cater to a variety of preferences, from luxurious resorts to quaint cottages and condos. Many properties are nestled within natural surroundings, providing a tranquil and intimate setting for visitors.
In summary, Sanibel Island's combination of natural wonders, leisurely pursuits, and charming character makes it a captivating destination for travelers seeking a tranquil beach getaway with a touch of adventure.
