Adventure abounds in Durango! At 7,600 feet elevation, the Bear Den is conveniently located between downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort.
No matter the season, the outdoor recreation opportunities are endless. Located in the four-corner area of southwestern Colorado, at the foot of the San Juan Mountains, Tamarron is a quick drive away from the Purgatory Ski Resort and the historic city of Durango. Also nearby, you can enjoy visiting Rapp Corral, Purgatory Resort, the Rockwood Train Station for the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, Haviland Lake, Honeyville, Durango Hot Springs, Dalton Ranch Golf Course, and numerous hiking & biking trails.
When you’re ready to relax, the cozy interior of The Bear Den welcomes you in with open arms. Settle down amongst the comfortable seating in the living room and catch up on your favorite TV show or movie. This space can also be used as additional sleeping quarters when needed.
The rustic-style kitchen boasts ample meal prep space, updated steel appliances, and a coffee bar. Dining will come naturally at the glass dining table, large enough for the whole family.
The condo’s primary bedroom has a plush bed, a private TV, and a large work desk. A private washer/dryer and central air-conditioning round out The Bear Den’s marvelous perks. This condo has all of the comforts of home, suitable for a short-term rental, or an extended stay.
