This unique apartment is located on the second floor, or “piano nobile,” of a landmarked Florentine palazzo set in an outstanding location inside the historical city center. The apartment, meticulously maintained with every detail restored to perfection, faces the famous Cappelle Medicee, which dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries. When you step outside the door, you find yourself strolling in the city’s oldest neighborhood, and the Santa Maria Novella Rail station is only 5 minutes away by foot. It was, originally, the residence of Pope Clement VIII when he was staying in Florence, and is now the ideal solution to live a dream experience.
All the impressive rooms are adorned with splendid eighteenth-century frescoes by Vincenzo Meucci, Tommaso Gherardini and Lorenzo del Moro, of enormous artistic and historical value.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A first hall of 60 mq welcomes guests with a direct view of the Medici Chapels.
Frescoed with the "music" allegory of the 1800, it preserves the wooden walkway for the musicians who enlivened the evenings at the Palazzo.
Two large sofas with 3 seats each, armchairs and chairs are part of the huge living room.
A delightful gallery, entirely frescoed by Tommaso Gherardini and Lorenzo del Moro, with the typical ppearance of the winter garden, connects the living room to the rest of the house
and represents a cozy and welcoming environment in which you can enjoy a pleasant reading.
A 50 square meters dining room, furnished with a large central table and a sideboard, both of the ’600, 2 round tables for small breakfasts or dinners: here you can admire the most important fresco of the Palazzo, "The Allegory of Arts and Virtues that defeat the Vices" by Vincenzo Meucci (1759).
At ground floor, a the large bedroom with alcove where, presumably, slept Pope Clement VIII Aldobrandini, is composed of an antialcove furnished with a splendid seventeenth century chest of drawers from Piacenza. surmounted by a beautiful oil painting depicting a mythological scene, a large wardrobe with three doors, a 3 sofa seats and various seats complete the bedroom.
The alcove houses a large double bed surmounted by an ancient golden canopy. Two precious carved kneelers from the 600th century serve as bedside tables.
n the bedroom you can admire two frescoes of the school of Vincenzo Meucci: the "Allegory of Justice and Peace" in the antialcova and "The dream of Jacob" in the alcove, both painted by Tommaso Gherardini (1759).
The en-suite bathroom has been entirely renovated during the recent restoration. The coverings are in Calacatta marble, the sanitary fixtures are of classic line in white porcelain.

A second large and more moder bedroom with ensuite bathroom is on an upper floor of the apartment.
The space dedicated to the kitchen is large and modern and the work stations, equipped with 3 extractor hoods, have been designed to allow 3 chefs to work simultaneously.
The kitchen is widely equipped with all the appliances and all the possible equipment.
A third small bedroom / study embellished by a delightful vault frescoed with motifs of flowers and delicate lace, a second bathroom with tub where the original "bardiglio" floor of the time has been preserved and a comfortable wardrobe area with 2 large wardrobes.
LIVING SPACES
The living room with comfortable sofas, facing a large TV with Netflix, and beautiful antiques boasts an exquisite original 18th century frescoed soaring ceiling, depicting an allegory of music. Two bright windows facing the Cappelle Medicee let the natural light flood into the house. Completely frescoed library/tea room, perfect as a place to relax, unwind and enjoy one of the many art books available on the well-stocked bookshelves of the house. Traditional dining room hosts the most important frescoed ceiling of the Palazzo and it is marked with classic style. The warm wood antiques, several oil paintings of various periods, and the Murano hand-blown glass chandelier create an elegant space for formal dining. Two large windows let in plenty of natural light. The special characteristic of this house resides mostly in the details—from the delightful soaring frescoed ceilings and elaborate crown moldings, to the dark wood furnishings that add richness throughout the apartment. A fully equipped modern A/C eat-in kitchen and a laundry room complete this floor.
