Sweet Haven
There are few more beautiful settings in Midcoast Maine than the one enjoyed by this oceanfront property on the shores of Mill Cove in Boothbay Harbor. This light-filled coastal escape includes a one-bedroom cottage and a detached studio in a gorgeous dock setting - all just half a mile from the shops, restaurants, and recreational outfitters in the heart of downtown Boothbay Harbor.
As you step inside the main cottage, you’ll be greeted by beautiful wood floors, beamed ceilings, and crisp, blue-and-white decor that reflect your nautical surroundings. Windows on three sides of the room bring in views of the ocean, the dock, and the front garden, allowing you to enjoy the setting whether you’re playing board games at the coffee table, watching the artfully hidden flatscreen cable TV, preparing meals in the open kitchen, or sitting down to breakfast at the bistro table by the window. Both the living room and the bedroom - just off the kitchen - have glass doors that open to the expansive dock-style deck, where you can grill and dine in the afternoons and sip wine in Adirondack chairs at sunset. Strolling across the deck will lead you to the separate studio, which offers a queen bed and a half-bathroom of its own. Additional amenities include a washer/dryer, free WiFi, and window air conditioning for your ease and convenience.
