The Emerald is a beautiful two bedroom terraced house, perfect for family getaways or group trips to this famous town. Soak up the sunshine in the peaceful courtyard area or explore the quaint streets of Henley, the fab location will make this a truly memorable holiday.
On entering you’ll find a lovely open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with dark wood flooring. There’s plenty of comfy seating in the lounge area and a marble style dining table where you can laze away an evening over a delicious feast prepared in the fully equipped modern kitchen. The décor is light and airy and the place has a calm feel to it. The ground floor has a washing machine, dishwasher, workspace area and a large shower room with a toilet and hand basin.
The first floor is accessed by a steep set of stairs which is unfortunately not suitable for young children or elderly. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, the first bedroom boasts a large comfortable king sized bed and the second bedroom a cosy double bed, both are decorated in muted beige and green soothing tones. There is also sleeping for 2 on the sofa bed in the open plan lounge area.
Whether you choose to enjoy a night in and watch some movies on Netflix or spend the evening drinking champagne and playing games, the cottage’s open-plan design makes the space very sociable and relaxed. This place is perfect for those wanting a change of scenery, some quality time with loved ones or a quiet space to write, compose, unwind or be treated.
If you are looking to head out and explore then the town centre is just a 5 minute walk away where you will find some delicious bakeries, boutique shops, restaurants and pubs, the River Thames and two supermarkets. Take a picnic on a trip out on the Thames with boat hire, or for the more adventurous hire a bike and explore the Chiltern Hills and the Thames Path. For rainy days Henley has a wonderful theatre as well as a cinema.
Whilst there is no parking with the property there is free road parking within a few minutes walk.
Please note this property is located in the town centre, so some noise from the surrounding area may be expected.
Dogs are very welcome to join you during your stay; however, please note that they must not be left unattended at the property at any time. Please note that there is an additional £30 charge per pet.
