Escape to this stunning part of Umbria and a charming apartment for 4. On the first floor of a traditional farmhouse, this rustic property shares a garden and swimming pool with 2 other apartments. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and close to some of the prettiest towns in Italy, it makes an ideal holiday home for all ages.
The front door is accessed via a typical outdoor staircase. The entrance opens directly into the spacious living area with beamed ceilings and a brick fireplace. The cosy seating area is furnished with armchairs, a sofa and a flat-screen TV. Pillars separate the sitting room from the kitchen/dining area. Here guests will find a table for 6 and a brightly painted fitted kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, Moka coffee maker, food processor and fridge/freezer.
The fenced garden has been created with as much care and attention as the interiors. There is a swimming pool, where guests can relax on sun loungers and enjoy their quiet surroundings.

Location
The house is in the small village of Migliaiolo, just 4 minutes from the charming town of Panicale. On the slopes of Monte Petravella, with medieval streets and squares, the town looks out over Lake Trasimeno. Visitors can enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants or for self-catering, Panicale’s weekly market takes place on Monday mornings.
More active guests will find plenty to do on Lake Trasimeno with a sailing school, water skiing, canoe and kayak hire all within 30 minutes. Alternatively, the Lamborghini Golf Club is only 11 minutes away. There are also hiking routes around the lake and in the surrounding hills.
The capital of Umbria, Perugia is 40 minutes away. It is well worth a visit, as is the famous town of Assisi (1 hour) birthplace of St Francis and a site of pilgrimage.
