Casa Andrea 12 is a spacious holiday home for up to 12 guests, located
on a working organic farm in the rolling hills of Umbria. This is where
real Italian country life begins. Children will love meeting the farm
animals, while adults can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy
quality time with friends or family.
Just 2 kilometers away are the villages of Suggano, with a small
grocery store, and Canonica, home to the traditional Trattoria da
Peppe. The historic town of Orvieto, with its famous cathedral and
Albornoz fortress, is 20 minutes away. A must-see destination is Civita
di Bagnoregio, the “dying village,” about 25 minutes away. The scenic
Lake Bolsena is also within easy reach at about 30 minutes.
The property consists of a two-storey main house and a separate cottage
with two bedrooms. Built from volcanic stone typical of the region,
with brick accents around the windows and corners, the home is
surrounded by a well-kept garden. A covered terrace with pool view is
ideal for al fresco dining.
Inside, colorful walls and comfortable furnishings create a welcoming
atmosphere. Highlights include the fully equipped kitchen and a bright
conservatory with views of the pool.
Guests can purchase fresh products from the farm, including milk, eggs,
cheese, and meat. A guided tour with cheese tasting at a nearby organic
goat farm is included. Four mountain bikes and a solar-powered EV
charging station are available. This means that it is possible to
recharge an electric car for free between 8:30am – 6:30pm.

Perugia, the capital city of the region of Umbria in central Italy, is a gem that offers a rich blend of history, culture, and gastronomy. Perched atop a hill, it provides stunning panoramic views of the verdant valleys and terracotta rooftops that characterize the Italian countryside.
The city's history is palpable in its well-preserved medieval center, where narrow, cobblestone streets open up to reveal grand piazzas. The Fontana Maggiore, a medieval fountain adorned with intricate sculptures, is a centerpiece of Piazza IV Novembre, which is also home to the impressive Perugia Cathedral and the historic Palazzo dei Priori.
Art enthusiasts will find a treasure trove in the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria, housed in the Palazzo dei Priori, which showcases a vast collection of Renaissance paintings. The city's Etruscan roots are also on display at the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria, where visitors can delve into the region's ancient past.
Perugia is renowned for its chocolate, with the annual Eurochocolate festival drawing sweet-toothed visitors from around the world. The city is also the birthplace of the famous Baci Perugina chocolates, and a visit to the Perugina Chocolate House is a must for any chocolate lover.
For those seeking a taste of local life, the city's markets offer a variety of Umbrian specialties, including cheeses, cured meats, and truffles. The region's culinary delights extend to its restaurants, where traditional dishes are served with a contemporary twist, often paired with excellent local wines.
The city's cultural calendar is bustling with events, including the renowned Umbria Jazz Festival, which attracts jazz musicians and fans from across the globe. The festival transforms the city into a vibrant hub of music and celebration each July.
Perugia's strategic location also makes it an ideal base for exploring the rest of Umbria, with its rolling hills, vineyards, and picturesque towns like Assisi and Orvieto. The surrounding countryside offers opportunities for hiking, cycling, and even hot air ballooning, providing a different perspective on the region's breathtaking landscapes.
