Fantastic family home with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and huge Great Room. Located just off the Union Road Wine Trail, you’re a short distance to some of the area’s top wineries: Cass Winery, Steinbeck Vineyards, Pear Valley, Barr Estate, Bianchi, and even Tobin James. It’s also just minutes from the award-winning, Sensorio…a must-see art installation in Paso. With plenty of space, it’s the perfect spot for a family reunion, an “old friends” wine-tasting get together or a Bride and her bridesmaids.
The space
SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS
The master has its own giant master en suite with dual sinks and a walk-in shower and private water closet. The master bedroom has a king bed, a 55” TV and ceiling fan, along with a large walk-in closet.
Bedroom two dons a queen bed, working desk and ceiling fan. Bedroom three has two twin beds and ceiling fan, perfect for the kiddos or two single adults. Bedroom four has a king bed, working desk space and ceiling fan. These bedrooms all share bathroom 2 which as dual sinks and a tub/shower combo.
LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Interior)
Walk through the front door and immediately be wowed by the giant Great Room with vaulted ceiling and working gas fireplace. The home is decorated in a mid-century modern feel with all new furnishings and bright, lively colors.
The dining area has a large wooden table with seating for 8. The side buffet is the perfect spot to set up dishes for family-style dining, or wines for some great wine-tasting.
Adjacent to the dining area is the large kitchen with all stainless-steel appliances; a large Whirlpool side-by-side fridge with an ice and water dispenser, a 4-burner gas stove and large oven, a Frigidaire microwave oven and dishwasher. There is plenty or work space on the granite countertop and large center island which also has bar stool seating for 4.
The living room area is equipped with a large sectional and two comfy side chairs. A 65” SmartTV hangs over the fireplace and is the perfect for all to see from anywhere in the Great Room. Oh…and don’t forget your Prime or Netflix account numbers so you can stream your favorite movies.
A breakfast nook has a round table for 4 and the French door sliders lead to the back patio.
The back patio has a gas BBQ along with lounge seating for 4…the perfect spot for conversation and sipping on your favorite Paso Wine. A large umbrella protects you from the bright summer sun. There is also a firepit area surrounded by 4 Adirondack chairs. This is a great spot to enjoy after dinner drinks while gazing at the stars.
GUEST AMENITIES
We provide personal amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities such as dish soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens and bath towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are in both laundry areas. The kitchen is also stocked with the essential stapes: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices. There is dinner service for 12 as well as plenty of serving necessities.
THE IMMEDIATE AREA
You are in the heart of Paso Wine Country just off the Union Road Wine Trail. This home is also just 15 minutes from the town square where there are dozens of wine-tasting rooms, restaurants, shopping and a farmer’s market every Saturday morning. Downtown there are over 12 wine tasting rooms, along with a distillery and local craft breweries. The downtown City Park offers free summer concerts from June through August every Thursday night. Pack a picnic basket, a bottle of wine or two, your beach chairs and enjoy local musicians belting out everything from Jazz to Rock and Blues.
PROVISIONS
Smart & Final is the nearest grocer, located a block away on Spring Street. In addition, Savage Spirits & Deli - located right across the street - has an impressive deli (tri-tip grilled on the weekends for sandwiches) along with a great collection of spirits and beer. Another favorite located just a few blocks away is DK’s Donuts (open 24 hours per day). A few miles from town there is an Albertson’s on Niblick and Trader Joe’s is just down the road a bit on Vineyard Drive in Templeton. While at the Trader Joe’s you can pick up some fresh caught fish at Pier 46 Fish Market or head on over to the butcher, J&R Meats, for some grass-fed local meats and game. Back up in Paso you can find a few quality cheese shops, Vivant Fine Cheese and Di Raimondos Italian Market and Cheese Shop, along with some cigar shops, Boyd’s and Third Base Market & Spirits.
