Located in the south-east of Sicily, close to Scicli, Villa Maura is an elegant villa with a private swimming pool and wonderful views over the Hyblean coast. Donnalucata (4 km), with its shops and restaurants, and Playa Grande (4 km), the nearest beach, are both within easy driving distance of the villa and the area includes many other attractions such as a picturesque coastline, nature reserves and the enchanting baroque towns of Scicli, Noto, Ragusa and Modica.
On the ground floor you will find an open plan living room with a seating area (with sofa bed), a dining area (with a table for eight) and a well-equipped kitchen area, as well as a laundry area in the corridor (with a washing machine). In the sleeping area, there are two double bedrooms (with double beds) with ensuite bathrooms (with shower) and two twin bedrooms (with two single beds that can be joined to make a double) with ensuite bathrooms (with shower). All the bathrooms have a window, and each bedroom has direct access to the garden.
Outside, you will find a large garden with a swimming pool (12m x 4m; depth 1.25m - 1.5m open all-year round) surrounded by a sun terrace (with sun loungers). There is a shallow area (4m x 2.5m; depth 30 cm) in the pool where children can play, and the whole pool can be blocked by a net which can be mounted on request. You will also find a shady outdoor dining area (with table and chairs), a lounge area (with chairs and an umbrella), a lawn/children’s play area and a barbecue/grill.
