VILLA FORTUNATA - GARGNANO AREA
Situated in a hillside estate on the western shore of Lake Garda, Villa Fortunata is a stylish modern villa with breath-taking panoramic views of the lake. The beaches of Porto Tignale and Gargnano are 10-15 minutes’ drive from the villa and the nearby town of Gargnano has two Michelin-star restaurants (villa Feltrinelli and Tartuga) as well as waterfront restaurants with lakeside tables. Other local attractions include the lakeside towns of Salò and Limone (one of the most popular resorts in the area) and there are plenty of opportunities for swimming, sailing, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. A hotel (2-minutes from the villa) offers breakfast at a special price of 8 Euros, and you can book the hotel’s tennis courts.
Villa Fortunata (350 sqm) consists of one main apartment on two floors and two independent apartments (each with access to the main apartment), one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. While the apartments are self-contained, guests have access to large communal areas where they can spend time together.
Upon entering the villa, you will find a hallway leading to the first floor with one double bedroom (with double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with bath and shower) and a gallery (with large panoramic windows, a sofa, and a leather lounger). From here, you can access a balcony (with a suspended lounger).
On the first floor, you will also find a small apartment with one double bedroom (with double bed), one bathroom (with shower), a living area and a kitchenette.
As you descend the stairs from the gallery, you will find a communal living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area (with a table for six), a lounge area (with comfortable seating), a reading area, and a well-stocked bar (available to guests free of charge). In addition, guests will find a double bedroom (with a double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with shower), and a wellness area (for exclusive use of the guests) with saunas, massage beds, and relaxation areas.
On the ground floor, you will also find a small apartment with one double bedroom (with king size bed) with ensuite bathroom (with shower), a living area and a kitchenette.
Outside there is a fenced, terraced garden, a shady outside dining area (with a table that seats eight), seating areas, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. The villa also has lemon trees and visitors can pick lemons from the trees during most of the year. In addition, there is a jacuzzi (cold water) available for use in the summer months.
