Upstairs on the second floor, you’ll find an oak-beamed twin bedroom, enjoying spectacular views over the countryside, stretching to Daylesford and beyond. This room includes its own en-suite bathroom and offers flexibility, as the twin beds can be zip-linked to form a super-king bed if desired. To maintain the exceptional standard of the cottage, pets and smoking are not permitted.
The property is thoughtfully equipped for families with young children, including a stair gate, highchair, and travel crib. A larger crib or newborn cradle can also be provided on request for a small supplement ($20).
For larger family gatherings you may also wish to book the adjacent ’Ryeworth Cottage’ which shares the garden & parking spaces with Kite’s Gate Cottage. This will give you 6 bedrooms and bathrooms. The owners at Kingham Lodge have 5 holiday cottages available on site for large gatherings sleeping up to 26 people. Do call us about booking multiple cottages for a large family celebration.
There are 5 cottages on site and operate a private ’swim time’ for each individual cottage, so all groups of guests have private family time in the pool. Your time changes each day and this information is shared with you in your booking confirmation email. You can also enjoy an early morning swim that is open to everyone. The pool is used by Kingham Lodge owners only after 4:30 pm. Pool towels are provided for you in your cottage and the owners will give you a pool safety briefing on arrival.

Here, one can explore artisan shops, cozy tea rooms, and traditional pubs serving hearty English fare. The market town of Cirencester, often referred to as the "Capital of the Cotswolds," boasts a rich Roman history, with the Corinium Museum offering a glimpse into the area's ancient past.
Garden lovers will find themselves in paradise, with the Cotswolds home to some of the most beautiful gardens in England. Hidcote Manor Garden and Kiftsgate Court Gardens are just two examples where one can wander through intricately designed landscapes that explode with color and life during the spring and summer months.
For those interested in the arts, the Cotswolds does not disappoint. The region has inspired writers, artists, and poets for centuries, and this creative spirit is still alive today. Visitors can attend performances at local theaters, visit art galleries, and even participate in craft workshops.
