The Chasa Chaposch was designed with great attention to detail to offer you extraordinary holidays in an original Engadine house that has been elaborately renovated and equipped with modern comfort - all in the midst of nature. Enjoy the tranquillity and comfort of an exclusive holiday home in Tarasp - with a view of the majestic castle and the impressive mountain landscape of the Lower Engadine.
Unlike all other localities of the Lower Engadine, Tarasp is located on the right side of the Inn and comprises eleven charming districts. Thanks to the numerous mineral springs on Tarasp soil, the Vulpera fraction in particular developed from a modest farming village to one of the most significant health resorts in Switzerland during the second half of the 19th century.

The large windows in the living room offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountain landscape and Tarasp Castle from the cosy dining area. Embedded between sgraffito-decorated houses, the house and Tarasp itself offer a magnificent view of the castle, Lake Tarasp, the opposite village of Ftan, the main town of Scuol and the imposing mountain world of Piz Pisoc, Piz Zuort as well as Piz Nair and Piz Plavna Dadora. Shopping opportunities and the PostAuto bus stop are only about ten minutes’ walk away. Alternatively, you can treat yourself to culinary delights from the region in the romantic Swiss stone pine wood ambience of the 16 Gault Millau point castle hotel restaurant Chastè.
In summer, Tarasp is a paradise for hikers and bikers, ideal as a starting point for tours in and around the Swiss National Park. In Vulpera, there is one of the oldest open-air swimming pools in Switzerland as well as a nine-hole golf course.
In winter, groomed trails invite cross-country skiing, winter hiking and sledding. The children’s ski lift and the ice surface on Lake Tarasper offer additional winter activities. The Motta Naluns ski area on the opposite side of the valley can be conveniently reached by the free ski bus.
The guest card of the holiday region Engadin Scuol is included in every booking for all guests.
