Chalet Les Pellys is an Property Manager property.
The Property Manager team’s opinion -
Chalet Les Pellys is a three-storey chalet for up to 15 guests, with six bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room.
Set in a spectacular location in the mountains, 500m above the village of Samoëns, it’s just a short drive to the Samoëns 1600 ski station. The comfortable living/dining room opens onto a terrace with breathtaking views of the forest and mountains, perhaps best enjoyed from the hot tub. The separate kitchen, which has two dishwashers, two ovens and two fridges, has its own terrace with a dining table and chairs.
The layout of the bedrooms means a group of families travelling together can all have their own space, with four family suites on the top floor and two separate rooms on the first floor. And with a games/cinema room as well as the main living room, there’s plenty of room for everyone to get together in the evenings. Enjoy a film, a chat around the fire or perhaps a little star-gazing from the hot tub – the choice is yours.
The chalet also has a large sloping garden, which makes a great sledge run in the winter.
Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.
The maximum occupancy of the property is 15 people. In accordance with the fire safety regulations, the property complies with the provisions of the January 31, 1986 decree (later amended) for residential buildings. As the property isn’t classified as an establishement that provides public access, the maximum occupancy of the chalet must not exceed 15 in order for it to comply with the provisions of the decree of 22 June 1990 related to establishments that provide public access. During three summer weeks, cows stay in the garden. A temporary electric fence is set up at that moment so that they don’t disturb guests.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your payment details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

About the area
Flaine, France, is a modernist gem set in the heart of the Grand Massif ski area, offering a blend of excellent skiing opportunities and unique architectural design. Designed by Bauhaus architect Marcel Breuer in the 1960s, Flaine is a purpose-built resort that emphasizes functionality and integration with the surrounding landscape, making it a fascinating destination for both ski enthusiasts and architecture aficionados.
The resort is particularly renowned for its extensive ski domain, which caters to all levels of skiers and snowboarders. With over 265 kilometers of pistes, the Grand Massif is one of the largest ski areas in France, boasting a range of slopes from gentle greens and blues for beginners to challenging reds and blacks for the more experienced. The area is also known for its reliable snowfall, thanks to its proximity to Mont Blanc, ensuring a long and fruitful ski season.
For those interested in art and culture, Flaine features outdoor sculptures by notable artists such as Picasso and Dubuffet, adding an open-air museum feel to the resort. The integration of art and architecture within the natural environment creates a unique cultural experience that sets Flaine apart from other ski destinations.
In the summer months, Flaine transforms into a haven for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and golfing. The resort's 18-hole golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., offers stunning views and a challenging layout for golfers of all skill levels. The surrounding Alpine scenery provides a picturesque backdrop for a variety of other summer pursuits, including tennis, archery, and climbing.
Flaine is also family-friendly, with a range of activities and facilities designed to keep children entertained. From ski schools and daycare services to leisure centers and play areas, families can enjoy a stress-free holiday knowing that there's something for everyone.
The resort's accommodation options cater to a range of preferences, from luxury hotels to self-catered apartments, all designed with the same modernist aesthetic in mind. The culinary scene in Flaine is equally diverse, with restaurants serving traditional Savoyard specialties, international cuisine, and everything in between.
In essence, Flaine offers a unique combination of world-class skiing, striking modernist design, and a rich cultural atmosphere, making it an alluring destination for travelers seeking both adventure and artistic inspiration in the majestic French Alps.
