This spacious and thoughtfully appointed mountain home is ready to welcome families, couples, or groups seeking a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home in the luxury of a mountain escape.

With two levels of beautifully designed living space, Starlight Ridge offers comfort and style for every guest. The main floor features a stunning master suite with a king bed, private deck access, and a spa-like bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. A second queen bedroom on the same level includes a private bath. Downstairs, you will find a cozy king bedroom and a fun kids’ bunk room (with trundle), perfect for younger guests.
Kitchen and Dining
The fully stocked kitchen is complete with granite countertops, premium stainless-steel appliances, a convection microwave, coffee makers (Keurig + drip), a Ninja blender, and just about every cooking utensil you could need. A central island with a secondary prep sink adds to the functionality and efficient design. Share meals at the dining table for 8, framed by a bay window and panoramic mountain views.
Cozy Living Areas
Two inviting living rooms—each with a stone fireplace (one traditional, one with wood-burning stove), 55 inch smart TVs, and plush seating—make it easy to relax after a day of exploring. Enjoy scenic views through floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to expansive decks.
Game Room & Entertainment
The converted garage game room features ping pong, foosball, a card table, mini fridge, and a flat-screen TV—perfect for rainy days or late-night fun. Downstairs, find board games, puzzles, and video game consoles for all-ages entertainment.
Outdoor Living at Its Best
Two spacious decks span the back of the home with gorgeous mountain views, deer sightings, and unforgettable sunrises and sunsets. Unwind in the covered 6-person hot tub, relax in the porch swing, or gather around the fire pit under a sky full of stars. Ample seating includes Adirondack rockers, a picnic table for 8, and a cozy conversation set.
Access & Extras
With a flat, paved driveway and a secondary access point to the basement level, loading and unloading is a breeze. Guests also have access to a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.
Starlight Ridge is a 5 minute walk to Hawksnest Adventures Snow Tubing. It is also a 9 minute drive to Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, a 17 minute drive to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, a 15 minute drive to the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, a 20 minute drive to the charming downtown area of Banner Elk and a 25 minute drive to the downtown Boone area. Each of the downtown areas offer shoppes, restaurants, and entertainment. Enjoy a scenic drive on the famous Blue Ridge Parkway, the nearest access point is about 25 minutes away via Holloway Mountain Road. Tweetsie Railroad is about a 30 minute drive away, and lastly enjoy hiking trails all across the High Country. Otter Falls Trail is about a 3 minute drive away and a Tanawah Trail access point is about 17 minutes away.
Whether you are sipping your morning coffee as the sun rises or stargazing by the fire pit at night you’ll be sure to love the mountain magic felt at Starlight Ridge.
Additional notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- 4WD or AWD are strongly recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes and will be required during times of snow or ice. Tire chains may also be necessary. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY - FIRM:
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
