The beaches are within walking/biking distance or a quick drive as they are just a few kilometres away. There are a number of beach resorts such as the most renowned ‘L’ultima spiaggia’ along with many fascinating towns to explore such as Capalbio, Scansano, Pittigliano. The two famous Etruscan cities Tuscania and Tarquina are also within easy reach. Rome airport is about an hour’s drive. The open-plan living room leads across to the dining area and kitchen or out onto a very pretty shaded terrace with an external living area where pretty views of the garden can be enjoyed. To one side you can reach the large swimming pool and the fields beyond it. The house, designed with large glass sliding doors, allows for a lovely sea breeze to pass through when opened, creating a wonderful summer feeling.
