It’s on the same property as an historic main residence, ‘Duke’s Cottage’, an 1840 renovated sandstone home. ‘Duke’s Cottage’ is one of the oldest homes on the Balmain Peninsula and is named after its first custodian, Captain Robert Duke, a whaler and entrepreneur.
Your cottage and the main house share a street entrance and garden path, and you’ll have your own secluded garden space.

This is a 2-storey private guesthouse with stairs.
The owners, a family of four, live in the main residence and have a standard poodle, Harry. Harry can’t access the main front garden unsupervised and can’t access your accommodation. He may bark from time to time from inside the main house but is very friendly. If you bump into Harry during one of his daily walks, feel free to give him a pat!
