THE SKINNY: Immerse yourself in a different era! We have carefully crafted a 50’s mid century/diner styled space for you to bring the whole family to enjoy! It is a comfortable space with plenty of seating options for lounging or dining, and we have 2 dedicated outdoor space for Unit C, one on the screened in patio, the other in the grass near the walkway to the front door with fire pit and adirondacks. THE PROXIMITY: Simply 1 block to the beach! This property is situated along the most sought after part of A1A Beach Boulevard in St. Augustine Beach, walkable to quite literally EVERYTHING! We cannot state enough its proximity to everything from bars and restaurants to cafes and mini golf! Reference the drone pictures in the listing photos to see location. St. Aug Beach’s top eateries - Mango Mango’s, Stir It Up, Beachcomber, Jack’s BBQ, The Taco Shop, Cafe 11, Sunset Grille, Salt Life and many more! THE SPACE: The apartment itself, Unit C, sleeps 8 comfortably in 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full and and 1 set of Twin Bunks. All bedrooms are on 2nd floor. The kitchen is equipped to service 8 people and cook together for a great night in! The TV in the living room is a Smart TV, so simply login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows. AMENITIES: Linens and towels are included. Beach gear is included - beach towels, 4 camping style beach chairs, an umbrella and a rolling beach wagon. Laundry machines are in the unit’s downstairs hall closet. Small patio table is situated on the screened in porch just off the dining room. THE LAYOUT- Unit C has a solid 3/2 layout: UPSTAIRS MASTER BEDROOM: King bed with en suite bathroom with shower/tub combo. UPSTAIRS 2ND BEDROOM: 1 Full bed and 1 set of twin bunks. UPSTAIRS 3RD BEDROOM: 1 Queen bed. GUEST BATHROOM: In hall with shower/tub combo. OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days. PARKING: There are 3 spots labeled Unit C on the East side of the property. Please only park in the spots with signs that say Unit C. There is a placard on the front door to help demonstrate which parking spots are yours to use. There is no other parking provided. The rest of the parking lot and driveways is dedicated to full time residents in the other units. LAUNDRY: We offer a laundry closet with washer and dryer, starter laundry pods, iron and ironing board and some basic cleaning supplies for your convenience. HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just a 10-12 minute drive north is historic downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here in our quaint little St. Augustine Beach. This home is situated very nearby a beach access walkover across A1A! We are a block away! You can also drive to one of the public beach accesses on St. Augustine Beach to park and walk on. TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations. LAUNDRY SERVICE: We have laundry machines in the house but on vacation, it’s up to you if you want to do laundry at all! If you would like to partake, our brand new commercial laundromat The Queen’s Laundry is offering pick up and drop off wash-dry-fold service to the St. Augustine area. The cost is per pound and they will work out payment with you directly. They simply ask for 1 day’s advanced notice for a pickup request and a 24 hour turnaround time for completing and returning your laundry. SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1000 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements. Entire space of Apartment/Unit C ONLY is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. Limited parking. Please be sure to abide by parking rules notated in the above section. All bedrooms are on 2nd floor. Please do not walk around the other sides of the building. There are private full time residents who we do not want disturbed, thank you! Dog friendly ONLY, other pets will not be considered due to allergies. 2 dogs max! *WITH FEE* If you are bringing a dog, please reach out to us directly about our policy and fees! **OTA Guests: Even if you add a pet to your reservation, OTA does not automatically include pet fees. Due to an integration gap with our software we have to add pet fees to your confirmed reservation manually. Please reach out if you plan to bring your dog!** We recommend renting a car for your stay. If you prefer to travel by bicycle or would just like to rent them for fun, check out Drifters for drop off/pick up bike rentals. NOISE LEVELS: There are tenants in the 3 other units in the building. The interior walls of each unit border the interior walls of the unit next to it. We ask you to be considerate of the tenants in the other units by keeping noise levels down and observing quiet time especially from the hours of 10pm until 8am. The tenants will report to me if noise levels have reached an unacceptable level. Guests must be 21 or older to book. ALL BEDROOMS ARE UPSTAIRS. Please do not walk around the other sides of the building. There are private residents who we do not want disturbed, thank you! Parking is limited to the 3 gravel spots marked UNIT C off of the driveway on the east side of the building. Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. Pack N Play Available Upon Request with 48 hours notice. Dog friendly only. 2 dogs total allowed, with maximum weight of 50 lbs each. Our dog rent fee is $30.00/Dog/Night, $175.00/Dog/Week, with a maximum of $300.00/Dog/Month. -This fee is added on to your total after booking confirmation. -The fee doesn’t cover damage caused by your pet. We will provide photos and a handyman quote to fairly assess repair charges. -Pets must be fully housebroken, freshly bathed prior to arrival and treated with flea and tick meds within 30 days of check in. -Please share with us any details regarding weight, age, if crated when left alone, if allowed on furniture. If you are bringing a dog, please reach out to us directly about our policy and fees! LOST AND FOUND ITEMS: We charge a $50 minimum to ship forgotten items, which must be paid in advance. For heavier items, we ask that you pre-pay the $50 and we will acquire any additional shipping cost and bill this to you accordingly + 25% service fee.
