A spacious modern apartment in the heart of Chamonix, with a large balcony with magnificent views of the mountains.
On the third floor of a modern residence, set in extensive gardens, this airy apartment sleeps 5 people in comfort. The large living area has a wide window along one wall, including a sliding door that leads out onto a balcony, with spectacular views. There is a table and chairs on the balcony, where guests can sit and relax. The contemporary, comfortable furniture in the living room includes 2 large sofas and a leather armchair, with a glass-fronted, wood-burning stove. The dining table, for 6 people, is set between the windows and an ultra-modern, extensive kitchen. The kitchen is separated from the living area by a wide breakfast bar and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, american style coffee machine, extractor fan, raclette and fondue.

Location
The apartment is in the heart of Chamonix, close to the ski lifts, ski shuttle buses and the slopes. The Chamonix Mont-Blanc railway station, for the Mont-Blanc-Express, is 10 minute walk away.
Chamonix has so much to offer all year round. The nearby slopes are popular with skiers and snowboarders alike. For an alternative winter sport, the ice rink is only a 7-minute walk away, across the river Arve. The rink hosts regular ice hockey matches, with the local side, the Chamonix Pioneers competing against teams from across France.
In the summer months, visitors can go hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, mountaineering, rock climbing, playing golf and go horse riding. There is a skateboarding park 10 minutes away on foot and tennis courts are just 5 minutes away. For very fit visitors, there is the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc, which takes place every August. The event is made up of a series of 5 races, covering 170km, with 10,000m of ascent, passing through 3 countries, so not for the faint-hearted!
For something more relaxing, the Chamonix Yoga Festival (July) brings together yoga practitioners from across the world for a series of workshops, both indoors and out in the fresh mountain air.
Chamonix has all the amenities visitors need throughout the year, including many bars and restaurants to suit all budgets.
Geneva airport is a 1 hour 10-minute drive from the apartment.

No trip to Chamonix would be complete without experiencing its cable cars. The Aiguille du Midi cable car ascends over 3,800 meters providing breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and surrounding peaks. Similarly, the Montenvers railway takes visitors up to see the Mer de Glace glacier.
