This impeccably constructed residence is a quintessential Pacific Northwest mountain retreat. Ascending the stairs to the second floor and stepping inside, you’re welcomed by expansive living and kitchen areas boasting soaring angled ceilings. Oversized windows flood the space with natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere ideal for gatherings with loved ones. The living room is furnished with two cozy chairs and a plush couch, perfect for enjoying the flat screen TV or the warmth of the mini fireplace, ensuring comfort on chilly evenings following a day on the slopes. Gather around the generously sized custom wood bar top to share tales of the day’s adventures. The bespoke hallway kitchen features a gas range and ample space for preparing hearty meals or mixing cocktails with family and friends.
This vacation rental offers the privacy of two separate units, perfect for families or groups traveling together.
The upper unit is a spacious two-bedroom, one-bathroom suite with a full kitchen, living room with vaulted ceilings, Air Conditioning and a terrace with outdoor living spaces.
The lower unit is a cozy studio suite with a kitchenette, three-quarter bathroom, and a queen bed.
Please note: There’s no internal staircase connecting the two units. This provides privacy for both spaces, but keep it in mind when planning your stay.
The Outdoors
You can indulge in the crisp Pacific Northwest air on the covered deck, soaking in the evening ambiance of the mountains. Relax as you watch the sunset, taking advantage of the outdoor fire table and comfortable lounge seating. After a day of adventures, unwind in the luxurious hot tub to soothe your tired muscles. The large corner lot provides an ideal space for children to play, with ample room for games like tag amidst the ferns and trees. Additionally, the house will feature a propane outdoor fire pit for roasting marshmallows, replacing the wood fire pit shown in the pictures along with the four red chairs.
If you feel like heading out, the quaint town of Glacier is only one mile east and has restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the National Forest Service Center with maps and information about navigating the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. Mount Baker Ski area is about twenty-five minutes east and offers a vast landscape for all skill levels of skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. The Mount Baker ski area also features two restaurants and a bar, as well as a ski shop for stocking up on gear.
Pet Policy: DOGS only permitted (no cats or other pets) maximum 2. $35 per pet/per night
Glacier Springs Water: While the Glacier Springs Community has a current boil water notice in effect, it does NOT affect this home. Timberline Terrace has installed a new whole house UV water treatment system, and the water is safe to drink.
Children: This home is family friendly and Property Manager provides a Pack-n-play and Highchair upon request.
