The welcoming great room unfolds with a comfortable sofa, a dining table for cozy meals, and a spacious kitchen, recently updated with brand-new appliances and a chef’s arsenal of gadgets and tools. Furnished with two plush armchairs and a beanbag chair for ultimate comfort, this room features a window offering a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.
Upstairs you will also discover a spacious master bedroom, a rivate sanctuary. An en-suite bathroom provides convenience and relaxation, while the king-sized bed promises a tranquil night’s sleep.
Nature:
This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.
Weather:
The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.
Groceries:
Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away). There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations. Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons. Please come prepared with provisions.
Internet:
Glacier Springs now boasts fiber optics internet in every residence, eliminating the reliance on traditional mountain WiFi experienced in neighboring communities. If you seek swift and dependable internet for work or study purposes, this house is the ideal choice. With an average speed of around 200mbps, ample internet bandwidth ensures a seamless online experience for everyone.
Parking is limited to the vehicles that fit in the driveway perpendicular to the road.
This home is located in the Glacier Springs community and there is a boil water advisory in effect. Property Manager will provide gallon water. Please note that the water is safe for all basic needs except consuming.
