If you are looking for a contemporary villa in the Saint Tropez area that will leave you with unforgettable holiday memories, then look no further than the wonderful Villa Ansel. With a high quality finish, a glorious infinity pool, landscaped gardens, exceptional living space and five gorgeous bedroom suites, it is brilliant for families or groups of friends.
Inside, you will discover a fantastic open plan living and dining room, a chef’s dream of a contemporary kitchen, four outstanding double bedrooms and an elegant master bedroom suite. As well as the villa’s stunning gardens, it also boasts an eye-catching inner courtyard which you will enjoy from the living room through a giant floor-to-ceiling window. The living room has comfy sofas, side tables and a giant wall-mounted television above an open fireplace. The dining table and chairs are perfectly positioned with garden views on three sides.
The bedrooms are all beautifully appointed, they enjoy dressing rooms as well as ensuite bathrooms. The master bathroom is fabulous, with a bath where you can soak with a glass of champagne while enjoying the views, as well as a double sink and a large walk-in shower.
Outside, you will love the landscaped grounds and especially the infinity swimming pool. There is a summer kitchen, alfresco dining, a wonderful lounge area, sun loungers and a boules pitch for some friendly competition.
Villa Ansel is an excellent holiday pick for families or groups of friends that enjoy the great outdoors, hiking, cycling and beaches. The villa is close to Saint Tropez too so it is very easy to pop in for some celebrity spotting or for an evening stroll along its pretty streets, stopping for cocktails and a delicious meal in one of its many restaurants.
Villa Ansel sits in the hills near La Croix Valmer enjoying sensational scenery and gardens and is only two hundred metres from Gigaro Beach. La Croix Valmer, in the heart of the Saint Tropez peninsula, is a jewel of nature nestled within the national park, an area known for its walking, cycling and mountain bike paths.
Visitors can enjoy the natural pleasures of the pine clad Maures Massif and blissful days on the sun kissed beaches of Gigaro, Debarquement or Boullabaise. With fine golden sand, dramatic headlands and coves that take your breath away, Gigaro is a wonderful spot which has been used in many films and marks the entrance of the Cap Lardier Estate protected by the Port Cros National Park. The scenic coastal path leads from cove to cove and boasts stunning views of the Iles d’Or and magnificent sunsets.
The nearby picturesque villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle are also great for a day out. Gassin is perched high in the hills enjoying a medieval terrace, where you can enjoy an unbeatable spot for lunch with superb views.
Just fifteen to twenty minutes away and evoking luxury and elegance, Saint Tropez is famous for celebrity spotting and a vibrant scene. Once a sleepy fishing village, Saint Tropez is now a favourite destination for the rich and famous with its buzzing harbour, glamorous festivities, impressive citadel and prestigious Polo Club.

Guests will adore Villa Ansel’s extensive grounds in the lush pine clad hills of La Croix Valmer. It is an ideal location to relax, rejuvenate and spend time with family or friends. Visitors can enjoy amazing views and can explore the vineyards and historical remains in the area. La Croix Valmer’s weekly market is one of the most famous in the Gulf of Saint Tropez and a brilliant place to pick up local produce and wine. The village hosts some wonderful cultural events, exhibitions, concerts and festivals throughout the year.
If you fancy a trip to the beach, Plage de Jovat is fantastic for snorkelling with guided snorkelling sessions given by instructors of the Service Espaces Maritimes during the summer. Gigaro is beautiful and home to cicadas in the thousands and a blissful collection of coves, headlands and bays. Gigaro boasts magnificent sunsets and superb views of the islands, Iles d’Or, as well as a great collection of bars and restaurants.
Gassin, a ‘Plus Beaux Villages de France’, is only a mile away and is home to the narrowest street in the world. It has sensational elevated views extending to the snowy peaks of the Alps as well as the Gulf of Saint Tropez. The new town of Gassin, designed by François Spoerry, has been built below the medieval village and was awarded a prize for the best new town in Europe. Other highlights include: the Gassin Golf Country Club, perfect for the golfers in your group and Chateau Barbeyrolles, an excellent vineyard where you can taste and buy delicious rosé, red and white wines.
The charming village of Grimaud is another nearby wonder. It boasts stepped terraces and an air of calm reflection. Views from its medieval castle captivate visitors and its warren of narrow streets offer stairways, vaulted arches, art galleries and a mill. The Grimaldines welcome musicians from all over the world.
Ramatuelle is also lovely with a charming central square, Ormeau. The village boasts a captivating, irresistible maze of winding streets sprinked with fountains, pretty houses and wrought iron décor. Its ochre façades and pastel toned shutters are adorned with fragrant jasmine, honeysuckle and vibrant bougainvillea. Close to Ramatuelle are the famous sandy Pampelonne beaches.
The Old Town of Saint Tropez, next to the Vieux Port, is a great place to wander. The 18th century Eglise Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption towers over the terracotta rooftops. The Musée de l’Annonciade is the oldest modern art museum in France, dating back to 1922. The town is a shopper’s paradise, packed with trendy boutiques, shoe shops, chocolate shops, antique emporiums and art galleries. If you visit on a Tuesday or Saturday morning, you can visit the open-air market stalls at Place des Lices where you can stock up on freshly baked bread and delicious local produce.
