Hayloft Cottage

Nestled on the Wheel Farm Cottages site in the pretty village of Combe Martin, Hayloft Cottage is a charming, one-bedroom holiday let. This beautiful barn conversion has been tastefully decorated throughout and has retained many of its original features, including wood beams and exposed stone walls. Whether you’re a planning a solo adventure, romantic retreat, holiday with your little one, or a dog friendly trip, Hayloft Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the North Devon coast. The open plan living area boasts a charming lounge with a comfy double sofa and armchair, from which guests can watch the TV with Freeview and DVD player, or just relax in front of the wood-burning stove. There is also a round table to seat two that overlooks the courtyard. At the rear of the property is the well-equipped, modern kitchen that comes with everything you will need for a comfortable self-catering holiday, including an electric oven with a hob, a slow cooker, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. On the first floor of the cottage is the lovely, well-presented double bedroom. This bright and spacious room has a king-size bed, a dressing table, a mirror and a fitted wardrobe. If you’re travelling with a little one, there is space within the bedroom for a cot. The final room located upstairs is the bathroom, which is fitted with a shower over the bath, a wash basin and a WC. Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Hayloft Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in. Free parking is available in the communal on-site car park. For families staying with young children, a travel cot, a high chair and stair gates can be made available at no additional cost and should be requested at the time of booking. Please note linen is not provided for the cot. If needed during your stay, guests can take advantage of the free on-site shared laundry room, which has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The nearest train station to Combe Martin can be found 12 miles away in Barnstable. Barnstable Train Station has regular direct services operating to Exeter and Lynemouth. One bus route operates in Combe Martin. The 301 operates between Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. The nearest airport to Combe Martin is Cardiff Airport which is 33 miles away.
