Shippon Cottage is a relaxing three-bedroom holiday let nestled in the village of Combe Martin on the North Devon coast. Sleeping up to five guests, this charming countryside cottage is the perfect retreat for families or couples looking to enjoy a holiday. Tucked away behind the main central courtyard on the popular Wheel Farm Cottages site, Shippon Cottage enjoys its own private entrance and outside seating area. Guests enter the cottage into the lovely comfy lounge, which has large sofas, a TV with Freeview and a DVD player. For the colder months, the lounge also benefits from its own wood-burning stove making it a great place to relax after enjoying a day exploring North Devon. From the living area there is a small step to the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is modern and compact but has everything you will need to enjoy a self-catering break, including an electric oven with hob, a microwave and a fridge with small freezer compartment. The country pine table located within the kitchen area comfortably seats up to four. Upstairs at Shippon Cottage are three bedrooms, including a double, two singles in the form of bunk beds, and a separate single. The bedrooms are all tastefully decorated and have storage facilities for holiday attire. The final room on the first floor is the family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath, a wash basin and a WC. Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Shippon Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in. Free parking is available in the communal on-site car park. For families staying with young children, a travel cot, a high chair and stair gates can be made available at no additional cost and should be requested at the time of booking. Please note linen is not provided for the cot. If needed during your stay, guests can take advantage of the free on-site shared laundry room, which has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The nearest train station to Combe Martin can be found 12 miles away in Barnstable. Barnstable Train Station has regular direct services operating to Exeter and Lynemouth. One bus route operates in Combe Martin. The 301 operates between Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. The nearest airport to Combe Martin is Cardiff Airport which is 33 miles away.
