About the area
【Kitazawa/Ikenoue District】
Although this place is close to Shibuya or Shimokitazawa, it is a quiet and rich residential area. Some embassies are nearby, and many nice, big houses are also in this area.
It is very secure town, therefore being attacked in the street hardly ever occurs in this area, since the people are friendly and calm.
Restaurants : Small restaurants and cafes are located nearby. One recommended cafe quite close to the station opens from 7:30am.
Shimokitazawa is also a popular area for curry like "curry town" where there are plenty of delicious curries and soups. A curry festival is held every October, and more than 100 curry shops gather!!
Convenience stores: 7/11 is located 1 min away. International ATM is available.
