Located in a hidden corner of what was originally part of the Estate of the Low Wood / Casterton school, made famous by the well known novelists and poets, The Bronte Sisters. This spacious property has been recently renovated and styled to provide a perfect holiday home for families and couples alike.
The property benefits from its own private parking which leads down a few steps to the properties glazed entrance, which has plenty of space for storing walking boots and perhaps a couple of bicycles.
The Hall leads into a generous open plan living room with a super comfy corner sofa, perfect for those relaxed evenings in, as well as a cosy dining area and practical kitchen with everything one would need for a light breakfast or gourmet meal. The Neighborhood
The property is a mere 10 minutes from the M6 and is surrounded by many areas of interest. The bustling market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is only a mile and half away with supermarket, chemist, choice of very good pubs and restaurants and also a wide range of boutique shops. In warmer weather there is nothing better than a picnic by the River Lune and a stroll along the banks of the river towards Devil’s Bridge, infamous for motorcyclists, walkers and cyclists. Ingleton with the White Scar Caves and Waterfalls Trail can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The opposite direction offers Kendal, the Gateway to The Lakes and Windermere. Casterton Golf Club and Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club are both within easy reach and minutes away with their excellent courses. The local pub, The Pheasant Inn, is just a two minute walk away, serving excellent food along with a great beer garden, perfect for summer evenings.

Payment & Cancellation - 14 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 14 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 14 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 14 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 14 days before arrival: 100% refund.
