Lookout Mountain has for decades lured hang gliding enthusiasts from all around the world to soar above the beautiful mountain, amongst the rugged rock cliffs, with the eagles! Hang Glider’s Nest was built by David Benjamin, a local lover and flyer since the 1980’s. Truly centrally located, with easy access on the main road to and from all destinations. Lookout Mountain, Fort Payne and Mentone are all known for their beauty and authentic mountain offerings to visitors. Waterfalls, hiking trails, canyons, Eagles, bears and more inhabit and grace the mountain. Beautiful vistas, local artisans and many homegrown cafes and restaurants give visitors options to suit their desires. Authentic mountain experiences is why our guests return year after year, often season after season.

Things To Know
Payment & Cancellation - 30 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation confirmation, and (2) reservation was confirmed at least 11 days before scheduled arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 30 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with Points or Cash & Points: 100% of payment of both Cash & Points will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 30 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund.

- SuitableForChildren,SuitableForInfants,PetsAllowed:petStayCharge,This house sits above a viewing cliff, once where the prior homeowner would jump to hang glide. Guests can sit, but may not cross the barrier for their own safety. Thank you.
