Kittiwake Cottage is a detached modern house set in the heart of the popular village of Marloes. Comfortably furnished in a quality contemporary style with a seaside and coastal theme, there are lovely wood and tiled floors throughout the ground floor, the spacious light dual-aspect lounge has French doors opening to the enclosed, sheltered landscaped garden with a split-level paved patio and further steps to a raised lawn; it catches the sun all afternoon and evening, so it is ideal for alfresco dining or just relaxing.The modern, fitted kitchen leads through to the dining room with French doors that also open to the garden. Stairs take you to the light, pretty bedrooms which make lovely welcoming retreats. There is a popular pub, The Lobster Pot, serving excellent food on your doorstep in Marloes and there is a play park to keep children entertained, while the stunning beaches of Marloes Sands and Musselwick are within a mile walk. St Ishmaels garden centre cafe, Nic’s cafe, do takeaway sandwiches to enjoy as a picnic.Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this wonderful coastline or take the Puffin Shuttle bus which stops in the village to explore further afield. Martins Haven is only 2 miles away and this is the embarkation point for boat trips to Skomer and Skokholm Island, a visit to see the puffins between April and July is sure to be a highlight of any holiday. The neighbouring village of Dale is popular with water sport enthusiasts and sailors, its position on the entrance to the Milford Haven waterway ensures a sheltered harbour and the hire centre can cater for all your requirements. There is a waterside pub serving good food, The Griffin, as well as a cafe and yacht club to try.An ideal holiday home for keen walkers and families from which to explore this beautiful area.
