Surrounded by woodland near Colle di Val d’Elsa, the villa sits directly on the ancient pilgrimage route connecting Canterbury to Rome. Walking trails begin at your doorstep, while San Gimignano, Siena, and Florence remain close enough for easy day trips.
Over fifty years ago, Maria discovered this once-forgotten farmhouse and chose to bring it back to life. Together with her husband François, she transformed it into a home that has welcomed generations.
The villa is surrounded by a generous garden filled with Mediterranean herbs, flowering plants, ancient oaks, and olive trees.
The pool: Set in a private corner of the estate (12 × 5 m), with a shallow area for children, a veranda, shaded areas, and space for long, relaxed meals and an outdoor shower, fully fenced grounds, surrounded by woodland near Colle di Val d’Elsa, Villa Timignano sits directly on the ancient Via Francigena, the historic route connecting Canterbury to Rome.
