Sunset Lakehouse is under 2 hours from New York City, and you’ll definitely want a car to get there and around the area. Just minutes from I-84, the NYS Thruway, and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, Newburgh is easily accessible and filled with things to explore. In winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.
