Villa Aromo is a four-bedroom property set within 3,960 m² of terraced gardens between Pollensa’s historic old town and the lively resort of Puerto Pollensa. Its setting combines tranquillity and mountain views with convenient access to honey-coloured streets, silver-sand beaches and local entertainment. Blending modern comforts with traditional Mallorcan character, the villa features beamed ceilings, distinctive windows and thoughtfully renovated interiors that create a warm and inviting atmosphere.Arranged over two floors, the ground level includes a charming lounge with both fixed seating and a sofa, as well as a separate kitchen equipped with a breakfast table and an additional formal dining area. This floor also hosts a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom with a separate bathroom, and an extra toilet accessible from outside. A curved staircase leads to the remaining double and twin bedrooms, with the upper double also enjoying its own en-suite. All bedrooms are spacious, individually styled and equipped with air conditioning.
The outdoor areas are mainly paved or cobbled and include covered dining space and a built-in barbecue close to the pool, alongside a separate barbecue house ideal for warm evenings. Guests will be delighted by the tranquil, private location of Villa Aromo. It is just 3.5km to the beach and is within easy reach of shops and restaurants.
At Pollensa Old Town you will be greeted by the majestic old town walls. The main square Placa Major is the place to head to for excellent restaurants, coffee and people watching. The bustling, popular Sunday market boasts delicious food stands as well as souvenirs and leather goods. The 365 Calvari Steps lead from the Placa Major to the top of the town where you can enjoy the astonishing views and visit the pretty, intimate Church of Nostra Senyora dels Angels. Light spills through the stained glass windows to illuminate the gorgeous interior. Just off the Placa Major are Museo Dionis Bennassar, an unexpected treasure and the home of a famous local artist. His paintings are displayed around a peaceful and inspirational home.
A short car journey away is the much-photographed Formentor Lighthouse which sits perched on the edge of the peninsular. You will experience the breathtaking sea views though you should be prepared for the winding road on the way!
The ancient monastery Puig de Pollensa sits on top of a mountain close to Pollensa town and also offers outstanding views of the Pollensa Bay, the Cap de Formentor and the majestic Tramuntana mountains. You can walk up to the Puig in approximately 40 minutes and enjoy some refreshments at the cafe at the top or make use of the picnic tables.
The beach at Puerto Pollensa is fabulous with silvery-white sand and shallow, warm water. There is a delightful Pine Walk where you can amble under the pine trees enjoying authentic old buildings and amazing views. Alcudia Beach is also very popular with interesting caves and small beaches, islands and islets. There is a good range of watersports, charming cafés and friendly restaurants. Boat trips can be taken from the two marinas.
The Medieval Old Town of Alcudia boasts intricate town walls, fascinating historic buildings such as the Church of Sant Jaume, the Chapel of Sant Crist and La Sala, cobbled streets, welcoming restaurants and buzzing bars. There is frequently live music during the evenings as well as open-air plays. Alcudia hosts a colourful open-air market within the walls and draws crowds to this happy event.
