The property uniquely combines secluded mountain tranquility with the convenience of being just minutes away from downtown Whitefish, Whitefish Lake, and Columbia Falls.
DURING THE WINTER MONTHS a 4x4 vehicle is required to access the property in the snow.
This expansive 4,140 sq ft house is designed to accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably, featuring 3 well-appointed bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Stepping through the home’s front door, you’ll find yourself in the open floor plan main living area, seamlessly connecting the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room area boasts comfortable leather sofas centered around a decorative fireplace, creating an inviting ambiance. Access the outdoor patio directly from the living room. The office/den offers a full-size sleeper sofa, smart TV, desk space, and a collection of books and board games for your entertainment. Access the back deck for a breath of fresh mountain air. Another cozy space features a twin-size fold-out bed and a TV, providing extra sleeping arrangements or a quiet spot to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen features a flat-top electric range and is stocked with everything needed to prepare gourmet meals. The dining room caters to all occasions with a cozy breakfast table for 4 and a formal dining table with seating for 8.
The primary bedroom (features a king bed, private patio access, an en suite bathroom with double vanities, a tub, and a separate shower. The second bedroom features a queen bed, private patio access, and access to a full shared bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom also features a queen bed, private patio access, and access to a full shared bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There is a full shared tub/shower combo on the upper level and a full shared tub/shower combo on the main level.
Guests can enjoy numerous outdoor patios and a wrap-around deck, offering serene seating spots amidst the trees. The property includes a propane BBQ and a six-cage private disc golf course, providing endless entertainment. The basement houses a foosball table for indoor fun.
In the winter, downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort provides 3,000+ skiable acres, 14 lifts with terrain for all skill levels and stunning views. The resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! There are plenty of other winter activities from snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and more. Of course, you’ll also want to explore downtown Whitefish eateries and galleries and don’t miss Winter Carnival with a parade and skijoring!
In the summer, enjoy all the watersports imaginable at Whitefish Lake, or any of the 100+ lakes & rivers within 100 miles, including Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Whitefish Mountain Resort also provides endless activities such as mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, ropes courses, alpine slides, and scenic chair or gondola rides (with Glacier National Park views). Speaking of Glacier National Park, it’s only 45 minutes away from Whitefish! Don’t miss the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! Getting around Whitefish and to Whitefish Mountain Resort is a breeze with the FREE snow bus! The snow bus is a free shuttle service during peak winter and summer seasons. There are stops all around town and on the mountain. Whitefish also has Uber, Lyft and Taxis.
