Set in open countryside with views across the fields and toward the Yare River, Pottles Cottage offers a home away from home stay in the Norfolk countryside. Located in a village just seven miles from Norwich, Pottles Cottage provides easy access to the South Norfolk Broads. With two nature reserves nearby, it’s an ideal base for hikers, bikers, and those looking to explore the waterways.
The full kitchen includes a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine, stove with cooktop, and microwave - everything needed for a hassle-free stay.
The open-plan living space is designed for comfort, featuring a large couch, cuddle chair, and a 40" over-the-air TV with HDMI and USB ports. A table with four stools doubles as side tables when required, and a storage ottoman contains a selection of family games.
The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in rainfall shower, a heated towel rack, and supplied towels. Connecting directly to both the main living area and the bedroom for convenience.
The main ground floor bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, a large closet, chest of drawers, 32" TV with HDMI and bedside tables.
The second bedroom, located on the mezzanine level, has twin beds that are slightly narrower than standard singles, making it more suited for children. There is no door, and the stairs lead directly into the sleeping area. Due to the restricted head height, this space is best suited for younger guests.
Outside, the patio area includes a table and four chairs, with access to a half-acre of well-maintained grounds. Guests are welcome to explore the garden while being mindful to keep pets and children away from the flower beds.
Pottles Cottage provides a well-situated base for exploring both the city and the surrounding landscape. Two riverside bars are within reach, serving local beers and home-cooked meals.
