VILLA DI LUCCA - LUCCA AREA
This grand villa can be found in Marlia, on the outskirts of Lucca, only 9km from it. Within walking distance you will find restaurants and more. The property has beautiful original frescoes dating back to the 1600s and it offers a large private swimming pool (13x6m). The villa develops over three levels and 800 square metres, in a 10,000 square metres park, filled with secular trees and Mediterranean plants.
GROUND FLOOR
In this floor there is the main kitchen with inside the original wood oven opening into the garden, the dining room, a storage room, 2 bathrooms, a second smaller kitchen, a living room. The big cellar has been re-converted into a beautiful wine cellar, with the original oak barrels, a wine tasting areas for the guests, a special room filled with a great wine selection. From the cellar there is direct access to the garden.
FIRST FLOOR
Entrance through an external staircase (typical for the 1600s Lucca’s villas) into a Hall. From this central room there is the access to: a salon with fireplace, a dining room, one kitchen opening onto the covered patio, 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 1 master bedroom with 1 bathroom, a frescoed ’music’ room (with piano), a studio, a salon.
SECOND FLOOR
In this floor there is a large Gym room equipped with modern equipment, 4 double bedrooms, 3 twin bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
Outside, the property has a 10.000 sqm large park, with secular trees and beautiful Mediterranean plants. A roses gallery crosses a side of the garden, from the private swimming pool (13X6; 1.2m deep; open from April 13 to October 31st) to the ‘lemon houses’ that can be also used for events and for reading and relaxing. The villa also offers a jacuzzi near the pool and a fitness room.
