From the apartment, this journey takes approximately one hour. You will be tempted to stay here all afternoon, soaking up the sunshine through the trees whilst taking photos of the picturesque waterfall and the forest around you.Triglav National Park boasts an abundance of outstanding hiking spots, with diverse landscapes and trails varying in intensity if you fancy venturing further afield. For spectacular vistas of the Vrsnik Valley, hike from the apartment to Planina nad Sočo, where the dense forests and lush green countryside will be sure to delight.Famous throughout Europe for its emerald-green hue, the stunning scenery of the River Soča will continue to tempt you to plunge into its cool, restorative waters for a revitalising swim. Your friendly hosts will be very glad to advise you regarding exploring safe and inviting swimming spots.Less than twelve kilometres from the apartment, Bovec’s small and lively town has become known as Slovenia’s ’adrenaline capital’, with an exciting array of water-based activities to offer visitors. Bovec is also the perfect example of a traditional alpine town, where you can enjoy a leisurely dinner at a friendly local inn or sit with a coffee and take in the atmosphere of Bovec Square, the setting for a variety of summer events. History enthusiasts can also visit the nearby Ravelnik Outdoor Museum.Electric mountain bikes are available to rent at the property, allowing guests to take in more wondrous sights. For an enjoyable challenge, why not ascend to the heights of the Vršič pass? Not for the faint-hearted, this is one of the most formidable alpine bike routes in Slovenia, boasting panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The pass can also be traversed by car, so if you prefer to drive to one of many scenic viewpoints, make sure to pack a picnic full of delicious local produce to enjoy.For a truly special day trip, the glacial wonders of Lake Bled are an hour and a half away. Visit the town’s well-known cliffside castle or rent a rowboat and make your way to the lake’s fairytale island before indulging in lunch at a local restaurant.
