Home details
This charming country house is located in a rural area in the Triangle Affligem, Aalst, and Denderleeuw. The connection with the E40 (Affligem) is nearby, just like the train station of Denderleeuw. The country house is implanted on an elongated plot of approximately 22 acres and was recently renovated in a masterly manner while retaining the rural farmhouse style. This rural atmosphere experience, in which the coziness of living is central, was extended in terms of material use, finishing, and interior decoration. The nearest restaurants are 500 m away offering delicious meals and drinks. Buy the general supplies from the store located at a short distance. The centre of Aalst is 6.3 km away. There are many other tourist attractions that are worth visiting. Modern comfort has also been stylishly integrated into the charming farmhouse experience. Quality materials and authentic style elements were used (solid parquet, natural stone, granite, old doors, floor tiles, etc.). The property is accessible through an inviting gatehouse that immediately connects to a reception room as well as a cozy courtyard with terraces. There is also a large open kitchen as well as numerous living spaces. The first floor comprises a night hall, 3 bedrooms, and a double bathroom with shower. The buildings were built around the cozy patio which is pleasant to stay in. The great asset of this holiday home is of course the wellness area. The relaxation area not only includes a heated swimming pool, but also a hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, shower, and changing rooms housed in a luxurious pool house. The fully fenced garden is surrounded by nature all around. The pool and outdoor Jacuzzi are heated from April 15 to October 15.

The Grand Place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe's most beautiful squares, is the heart of the city. It boasts ornate guild houses and an impressive Town Hall. Close by stands the famed Manneken Pis statue, a symbol of Brussels' unique spirit.

For those intrigued by European politics, a trip to the European Quarter offers a glimpse into the operations of the European Union with key EU institutions like the European Commission and European Parliament located here.
Brussels' connection with comic strip art has earned it the title 'Capital of Comics'. This can be explored at places like Belgian Comic Strip Center or simply strolling around town spotting murals featuring beloved characters like Tintin and Asterix.
Food lovers will relish in Brussels' culinary scene known for its waffles, chocolates, fries and beer. Numerous breweries also offer tours for beer enthusiasts.
Nature lovers are not left out either with green spaces such as Bois de la Cambre park or Sonian Forest on its outskirts offering hiking or biking trails.
