Beach Construction Notice:
The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach.
Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points.
This unit can hold up to four guests, providing comfortable linens, your basic bathroom necessities, along with a 50’ roku tv to enjoy! There is also high speed wifi, and a shared laundry space on the property.
All linens/bedding, including 4 sets of bath towels, are provided. Four beach towels are provided. Beach chairs are available. No beach umbrella or beach toys are provided.
This unit is pet friendly. We allow up to 2 house trained dogs or cats and require:
-Pets not be allowed on the beds or furniture
-When pets are left alone, ideally, they are left in crates. Otherwise, the doors to the bedroom and bathroom should be left shut.
Access is by private door with door code. There is no ramp or elevator in this building.
Guests will have the entire suite to themselves. All suites / units are fully separate with dedicated entrances.
Parking - Guests are given one parking spot in the parking lot. Please note that we shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. We do not guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
We do not have designed street parking-additional parking can be found at the beach access across the street from the building.
House Rules:
For the comfort of all guests, we have a strict no-smoking policy. A $500 fine will be applied if this policy is violated.
We kindly ask that there are no parties or events. Gatherings exceeding the maximum occupancy will need to be discontinued unless previously approved by the host.
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM onwards, as this is a multi-unit, family-friendly property.
Check-in is available anytime after 4:00 PM.
We welcome up to 2 house-trained dogs or cats. Please ensure pets are not on the beds. If you need to leave your pet alone in the unit, kindly use a crate. If you don’t have a crate, please keep all bedroom and bathroom doors closed. Please note that a $75/pet fee will apply to help cover additional cleaning needed.
We kindly ask that you clean up after your pets while outdoors. Please make use of the pet waste station for proper disposal. Please note that excessive pet hair may incur a damages fee.
For safety reasons, fires and fire pits are not permitted on the beach.
Fireworks are prohibited on the beach, as their use poses a significant fire risk. Please note that using fireworks would be considered a breach of the house rules.
To ensure your safety, we kindly ask that you avoid climbing or walking on the rocks along the beach, as they can be very slippery and hazardous.
To maintain a clean and pleasant environment, we ask that glitter not be used in the unit. Any glitter found will result in a $100 cleaning fee.
