This charming retro A-frame styled chalet is the perfect house for your vacation in the mountains. Forest View Chalet is a two story 2 + bedroom and 2-bathroom home that comfortably sleeps 6 guests. What we love about this home: -Remodeled Kitchen -Cozy Gas fireplace -Sleeps 6 -Private Hot tub -Bright and natural lighting -Across the road from a playground Main Floor On the first level offers you a newly remodeled kitchen with quartz counters, a gas range and dining nook.  A 3/4 bathroom, and laundry room are also on the main level.  The living room is complete with smart TV, DVD player and Gas Fireplace which creates a cozy and inviting space for you and your loved ones. With large windows in the living room and glass doors as the main entrance, this home receives a satisfying amount of natural light. Upper Floor On the second level are two bedrooms; one with custom made bunk beds offering a twin bed over a full bed. The master bedroom features a king size bed with an on-suite full bathroom. The master suite also has private access to a balcony; this is a sweet little spot to enjoy the fresh air of the Pacific Northwest with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Enjoy the Deck & Hot Tub With a large deck that hosts a BBQ and a Hot tub, provides a nice area for entertaining in the summer. With a playground right across the street, you can watch the kids play and not even leave the property. Forest View Chalet is a great house to make memories at in the mountains. limited parking available at this property. A Maximum of three vehicles are permitted. Please make prior arrangements to meet this condition. Important Notes: Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife. Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There’s also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online.  **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy:  We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions. Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains. Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away).  There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations.  Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons.  Please come prepared with provisions. Gated Community / HOA:   About Snowline Community Club Snowline is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and is one of the closest communities to the Mt. Baker Ski Area.  The community has numerous hiking trails both to Glacier and to the Nooksack River, a children’s playground and kickball field. The HOA requires gate cards for guest access, has rules for quiet hours, leash laws and a no campfire policy.   Parking is limited to the vehicles that fit in the driveway perpendicular to the road. **Please note that your rental may have limited parking availability. Carpooling may be required. Parking is not permitted on roads within the Snowline, Mt Baker Rim, and Snowater Community. Any fines accrued by the HOA in regards to parking violations are the responsibility of the renter.** Property Manager is required to register ALL vehicles that will be present on the property during your stay. *Please be advised that effective 10/01/2022, The Snowline community amenities ; which include the swimming pool,  clubhouse, sports courts, etc. are no longer available for Guests use.  We Thank you for your cooperation * We provide a complimentary pack-n-play and highchair upon request *Pets are NOT permitted at this property.
