Welcome to newly built Swiss Marmot!
This newly built, expertly crafted home offers the perfect Pacific Northwest Mountain getaway. As you enter the home you are greeted with spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas with high vaulted ceilings. Grand windows allow an abundance of natural light into the home, making it an excellent space to enjoy entertaining and socializing with your friends and family. The living room features a large genuine leather couch resting in front of a wood-burning fireplace, great for cozying up on a cold evening after a day spent at the mountain. Reminisce about the day’s adventures around the large custom-made eight-seat dining table. The modern wrap-around kitchen is appointed with stainless appliances and offers you all the space you need to prepare a large meal or mix some cocktails with your family or friends.
This home offers three spacious bedrooms; two with king beds and one with a queen bed. Additionally, the open loft area upstairs has a queen bed. These generously sized rooms with brand-new bed frames and mattresses will provide you with a restful night’s sleep, so you feel energized and renewed for the next day’s activities. Staying in the mountains does not mean that you have to sacrifice bathrooms, as this home features three full-sized bathrooms, two of which have a bathtub/shower combo.
The Outdoors
You can savor the fresh Pacific Northwest air out on the spacious covered wrap-around deck. There you can sit back and enjoy the sunset, making use of the Weber grill and outdoor lounge seating. Relish a soak in the luxury hot tub to rejuvenate your sore muscles after the day’s escapades or decompress and relax in the cedar clad sauna. A great, partially fenced backyard makes for an epic area for the kiddos to play and enjoy a game of tag or join a game of the provided corn hole or horseshoe sets. The 130’ fence provides privacy but is not enclosed on all sides. Landscaping is ongoing as weather permits and the yard does not contain grass. Don’t worry about your car batteries running low as the home even has an EV charger (phase 2; Teslas need to bring their adapter).
If you feel like heading out, the quaint town of Glacier is only one mile east and has restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the National Forest Service Center with maps and information about navigating the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. Mount Baker Ski area is about twenty-five minutes east and offers a vast landscape for all skill levels of skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding.
