Welcome to the Rivers Edge at Snowater, a lovingly remodeled 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom pet friendly condo. With a 2-story great room, and a wall of windows facing South, this light filled townhome is the perfect respite for time spent in the mountains.  The main floor bedroom has a queen bed and a full bathroom in the hallway.  The top floor is home to the master suite with a full bathroom and king size bed.  The master suite is loft style with a large window open to below.  The full kitchen is open to the great room so you can prepare a meal while staying connected with guests in the living room.  With an efficient floor plan, this cozy pet friendly condo also has a gas fireplace, balcony and laundry room. Located along the Nooksack River and at the border to the Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, the options are unlimited for your next adventure.  Snowater has 2 club houses available for guests to enjoy that includes 2 heated indoor pools with Jacuzzi hot tubs, a Cedar Sauna, Workout Room, Billiards and Ping Pong, Squash and Raquetball courts, basketball and Tennis courts, Playground, covered propane BBQ picnic area, and an outdoor gas fire pit. *Snowater Resort has four EV chargers available for owners and guests. This is offered for a $10/per charge fee. Please arrange use of the charger with the Snowater Resort office. *Please be advised that the Snowater Community does not allow for Air Conditioners to be installed in units, therefor A/C is not available in this rental. Important Notes: Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife. Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There’s also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online.  **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy: We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions. Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains. Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away).  There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations.  Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons.  Please come prepared with provisions. Parking: Property Manager is required to register ALL vehicles that will be staying on the Snowater property. You will be given a parking permit for each registered vehicle. You will need to provide your vehicle(s) Color, Make, Model and license plate # for registration. Pet Policy: DOGS only  permitted (no cats or other pets) maximum 1 dog allowed @ $35/per night Pet Rules: We love pets and are glad that you’re bringing your furry companion. We just ask that you please follow all of our guidelines, since this is another person’s home. 1. Pet fees must be paid in advance of Check in. 2. Maximum 1 Dog allowed (no cats) 3. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds (no exceptions) 4. Pets must be over the age of 1 year old. 5. Pets shall NOT be left unattended at any time for any purpose whatsoever or while you are at the ski area. 7. Any damage caused by pets will incur charges for repair or replacement of structures or furnishings and must be paid immediately. 8. Guests should prevent pets from producing excessive noise or continuous barking at a level that disturbs neighbors. 9. All guests agree to adhere to rules and regulations and county ordinances regarding leash laws, sanitation, and noise disturbances. 10. Any fines or violations will be charged to the guest.
